"We loved our stay. The office staff are wonderful and very accommodating. Our room didn't have a microwave so they brought one to our room to use. Everyone was so pleasant. I gave the room 4 stars because even though the bed was comfortable, it was starting to break down on the edge from people sitting on it. That was the only negative I can give. Great restaurant next door. We will definitely be back."

"We loved our recent stay at the Del Mar Beach Hotel. The beds are one of the most comfortable beds we have slept on! As an avid traveler this is the first thing I notice in a hotel - the bed and is it comfortable?! After all being its a hotel and in the business of "sleeping over," the beds should be good! You would be surprised that most hotels don't have updated newer beds. But the Del Mar Beach Hotel does! I would say this is a prime spot for being right on the beach and close to everything in this cute little town! The only things I noticed; the walls are thin - we had our tv on pretty low and someone was pounding on our wall at 9:30 at night...that was pretty annoying. And the light from the hallway was so bright we could see it through our shuttered window - maybe a curtain might give the room some added protection for the light leaking in!?"
