"Nice looking hotek with lovely pool area. I didnt get any sleep noise from vending machine kicked-in every 15 mins. Unable to fet breakfast as it was all full of sugar, no diabetic option. Moved to Comfort Inn & Suites as they had a fully comprehensive breakfast and airport transfers included in the price - which was cheaper anyway. Cant fault the staff at The Atrium they were very friendly and accommodating. Tip: if you need a taxi then book an Uber, regular taxi cab in yellow charged my card twice."

"Really underwhelming hotel for the price. Only positive is perfect for Orange County airport. Room was bland. No toiletries provided in room or even shower gel, I mean what's that about. Reception gave me a map on arrival to find my room, if you need a map to find your room it's already way too complicated. Disappointed."

"My room was infested with bed bugs, and management didn't seem to care. They treated me like I was lying, even though I managed to trap 4 live bed bugs in an empty water bottle and bring them to the manager. I was crying from being bitten for 3 nights, and when I finally found them on last morning, I went into an all-out panic at thought of bringing them home or to my office. The manager, Maritza, said things like, "We don't have them, we have a pest control company check every few months", or, "If we had them, someone else would have complained about them". I explained that I kept feeling like I had mosquito bites that got worse every day, but wasn't able to actually see them until the third day. She didn't respond. She said she couldn't comp my room unless a pest control company found bed bugs, and she would get an inspection same day. That was 3 days ago. I told her I care less about the room as do the thought of infesting my home, car, and office, and the astronomical cost associated with those. And not to mention the stress. And why would they need a pest control company to confirm when I literally handed her 4 LIVE BED BUGS in a bottle. She didn't even blink, nevermind show any concern. I asked for some plastic bags so I could bag up my luggage to prevent infestation in my car, and she put 2 bags on the counter. A few minutes later, she reached out and tried to take the bags back. I couldn't believe it. When I got home, I threw out my luggage and the clothes that were inside it, took my computer, electronics, and toiletries, and entered my home. I took the clothes off my back and threw them in the wash. When I removed the clothes, there was a bedbug in the washing machine. They had hitched a ride on the clothes I was wearing. The next day I found 2 more, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. I will update this review if there are new developments, and if management ever decides to respond."

"What a nice facility! Clean, modern rooms, stylishly designed with all the comforts a traveler would need. The location cannot be beat: it's literally across the street fro John Wayne airport. Well be back!"

"Stayed at Atrium Hotel for a quick weekend trip! Overall no complaints -- it's a great little spot with affordable pricing. Right across the street from John Wayne Airport. The guest representative who assisted me with check in was very kind, thorough, and quick. My tip for guests would be to read everything about your booking before confirming your reservation. They are very transparent with charges and offerings, and as long as you are well informed, nothing should come as a surprise fee. Hotel room was clean, spacious, and modern. I loved the patio as well. Ample, and private parking lot. Pool area was nice, although I didn't physically go in. My only complaint is that we couldn't get the hot water working in the shower and the tub seemed to be flooded. Because we were in a rush to leave in the morning, we did not have time to ask them about it. Water ended up warming up a bit, but wasn't sure what was going on with that. With that being said, I would be more than happy to stay here again since it's a convenient location. Hopefully the next stay will be perfect!"
