"If you can afford to stay at somewhere else. Please do. Our room had filthy floor and unchanged bed sheet with someone’s beard stubble. There is a strange unwashed body smell permeated the whole building complex. Certain part of the hotel reminded me of the New York subway. It is also quite clear, this is where unhoused individuals were given housing vouchers to stay, but the management makes no effort to make any necessary upkeep. It is truly a dystopian experience. Extra points for the night service staff refuse to come in to change the sheet after we found the sheets to be unwashed. We changed the sheet ourselves like we were employees there. I wish I had received a discount for doing my own chores."
"At check in, front desk was asking other staff what queen rooms were available. We checked in at 4pm so an hour after checkin time. Front desk clerk was scrambling to get us a room. He didn’t seem to know how to check us in. The room had pieces of paper on the floor so doesn’t look like it was vacuumed. Shower/tub faucet linked. When we were going to bed, we found pieces of human hair on the sheets. It was around 1am and had to go to front desk to get clean sheets and change our own sheets. Hotel had a strange smell to it. Thankfully we only stayed there one night. Bed was comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchen. Not my first time at an Extended Stay property, but it my be my last."
"First room was dirty, dust and multiple finger/toenail clippings on floor, along with a food item wrapper. Asked front desk if they could send up someone with a vacuum and they offered to change rooms instead. Second room had carpet, which smelled of dog and pet urine. We were just going to leave at that point, but were offered a third room, which turned out to be acceptable,"
"Stayed here for 3 nights and was pleasantly surprised by how clean the rooms were. The front desk staff were SO friendly and helpful (Shout out to Jay!) It’s in a good area and there was not a lot of noise outside or inside. I originally was only planning on staying for 1 night but extended it to 3."
"Booked two nights and stayed one. I knew we should have left when the elevator was tagged up and the hallway smelled of weed, but the tagging said “I love you” and the kindness lured me in. The hallways were filthy and housekeeping was not a priority. The room was spacious and only smelled a little bad. Nothing some room spray didn’t cover up. The bed had two sheets and no comforter. We used blankets from the car. The hand towels were dirty upon arrival. That’s not even the worst of it. The police showed up across the hall at 10:30pm looking for a missing woman who came up to the room with her boyfriend and had not been seen since. They went on for 45 minutes trying get him to let them into the room to “take a look around.” It was a little hard to sleep after that, but the neighbors alarm clock helped us wake up at 5:30am since it went off for 30 minutes and we could hear it through the paper thin walls. An experience I would not recommend."
