Motel 6 Artesia, CA

"I booked a room on the second floor of the studio. Although the room was great. Unfortunately, the hallway was dirty with a lot of items on the floor and children running around and shouting throughout the day."

"This is by far the worst Motel I ever stayed at. The room was suppose to be non smoking, I walked in and got smacked by smoke smell. The floors needed to be swept, There was a roach in the bathroom, Stains on walls, a women’s hair stuck to the bathroom door, the sink had a Grape & a clump of hair in the drain. I needed something quick as I was passing through town and was fatigue while I was driving. The heater in the room did not work."

"This is hands down the worse motel 6 that I've ever stayed at. My room appeared to be extremely dirty, stains everywhere, and the room had a terrible odor, it was very traumatic. I'll never forget that smell, I burned several candles and disinfected the room, but the smell would not go away. I had to breathe out of my mouth. This place is extremely ran down, filled with a bunch of sketchy people, felt unsafe the entire time!"

"I needed a cat friendly room. They were friendly and courteous, the room was waiting for laundry to finish as far as blankets but they let me in any and brought the blankets still warm from the dryer. The beds were nice and firm. Fluffy pillows, It was decently clean, and had fridge and microwave. THERE WERE NO BUGS!!!!! That's a make it or break it for me. There was a small cash deposit. I asked for receipt reflecting the deposit, and got it back the next morning when I checked out. Nice, honest n simple"

"DO NOT STAY HERE! People will smoke right outside your window or front door, the rooms are extremely grimey and smell of mildew, and the poor fish in the check-in area are in dirty water. At least I didn't see any bed bugs (in my room at least!)."
