Hyatt House La - University Medical Center

"Staff was not hospitable. Depending who is working depends on what they charged me for snacks. Lobby is cold and not cozy. Bar had the basic and bare minimum to offer however, the price was not minimal. Whoever designed the air ducts in the room was not thinking of it blowing directly on you. I get it that it’s for convenience to the hospital and college however that’s all the more reason this place should welcome the guest with open arms."

"I cannot say enough good things about this place. Location is awesome, we had a view of downtown Los Angeles from our room. There are 5 of us (adults and kids 16, 14 and 9) and we were all comfortable. We did park in the structure, no big deal. Yes there is a train, again, not a huge deal to us. For extra towels etc. You get them at the front desk. We dis doordash for dinner, but the room has a kitchen so you can cook if you want. Breakfast was great, hot and fresh items and everything was delicious. Breakfast cannot be brought to the room - you enjoy ot at the restaurant. I liked the moment to just enjoy it with my family. I highly recommend this place!"

"I stayed at this hotel recently, and I must say, I was quite disappointed. The property's location near the railway made it incredibly noisy, making it impossible to have a peaceful night's sleep. Additionally, the room was quite cold, and the window didn't provide adequate insulation. Overall, not a comfortable stay due to these issues."

"The rooms are spectacular. The restaurant and service personnel are some of the most garbage I've ever dealt with. I think in large part it was the fact that on NYE they put one man behind the bar. Restaurant was full, the front desk also had 1 man for 100s of people checking in the night outdoor too the Rose bowl. And no, that isn't sarcasm. Counted 213 people check in during my time downstairs. That's poor planning by any standard. Will not be back. Find a place that's ran properly unless you have hours to waste for things like hanging out to check in and getting wings."

"I was looking for a decent, safe hotel to spend the night since I had a trip to the universal studios. I found this hotel on expedia and I'm glad I did because it is super nice, safe, and convenient, the only downside for me is the parking which they charge $38 per night and it is across the street but at the end of the day I think it is worth it because it is super safe and close, rooms are nice, super comfy and clean! I totally loved this hotel because it is super safe, well located, and the price is fine. You have free wifi, a nice bathroom with all you need included, a big TV, and buffet included but it is offered too early. People in the front desk are friendly and it is easy to check in. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to spend some nights while exploring and visiting the city."
