"The room was a bang for your buck, its things going on in this hotel that u turn ya eye to, plus today i just seen two baby roaches and i haven't seen a roach in 18 years so therefore we were still tryna go wit da flow but clean and spray these rooms down and inside the dresser."
"We went to CA for my birthday weekend. In the first room we went into, I killed a roach as soon as I walked in the door. So I did a little more digging. As soon as I opened the dresser roaches everywhere. Needless to say, I asked for another room, which was, in my opinion, a lot nicer. The staff was friendly about it and apologized. Moved us no problem. That room was fine until at night I went to open the fridge and roaches were coming out of the microwave. The next day, we went and bought bug spray and sprayed the entire room multiple times. The area wasn't the best area but it was ok. We didn't run into any problems except missing the turn into parking lot bc of the abandoned cars by entrance. There just in the way. Hope this helps."
"I saw a lot of bad reviews and thought the good ones were lying but after the renovation it’s really nice. Clean room, beds, walls, and bathroom. The rooms are massive to"
"If you like to hear at 7:00am somedody skateboarding all over the front hallway of tour room... This is the right place for you. Can not recomend."
"Roaches and mostly occupied by displaced persons housed there by public dollars so even though it’s not the cheapest price motel there’s more illicit activity than a typical cheap motel in the area. The motel is in bad shape and the rooms all on the fairly deplorable side. Many rooms occupied by the long term guests are totally destroyed with broken furniture hoards of trash graffiti shopping carts etc. Ive stayed in or been inside of almost all of the rooms aside from most of the ones way in the back which aren’t used much. The jacuzzi room is whack and very awkward and doesn’t really have a romantic vibe but who knows. Some of the rooms have mirrors and are in better condition but are still typically unsanitary. They’re pretty good about changing the bedding but definitely not perfect and the quality of the sheets is very poor and they usually come off the mattress since they don’t use fitted sheets and the ones they do use are not large enough to stay on. I’ve seen 1 bed bug, there are lots of service dogs staying there so if you have an animal too it may get fleas, and there are roaches in every room. The organization that oversees the homeless housing program take over the entire place during the day and usually there are security guards working for them sitting out 24/7 often in front of guests rooms or having loud conversations, which is disruptive and having someone sitting outside your door feels like an invasion of privacy. The family who manage it are alright, they’re pretty nice in general and not overbearing at all but are extremely cheap and try nickel and dime everyone. One time there was credit from money put into the vending machine from a previous guests when I went to use it which the manager noticed and he ran out of the office to eject it and take it and make sure I could use it myself. It was extremely bizarre. They are extremely temperamental and do not tolerate any form of criticism or disagreement with their often totally delusional statements. They will invent reasons that you owe them more money and do not like it when guests pay the online rate. They are pretty nice though in general and enforce strict rules about guest behavior."
