"Do they pay for fake reviews? They have high reviews online and then you get there and it is an awful cheap motel with awful customer service. Avoid this place at all costs."

"We stayed 3 days or so, and regretted it . The room was constantly humid, smelled like mold. Also the showercurtain was moldy, as well as the ceiling. The showerhad was so dirty, that we had to buy cleaning supplies before showering. The air conditioning was loud too. Only the bed felt comfy. We didn't feel safe in the area. Never again."

"I stayed here for 9 days while looking for an apartment to rent. The room smelled moldy, the carpet crusty feeling. I asked for another room and the lady gave me a huge attitude. There was obvious drug activity going on. A young man who was staying 2 doors from me asked me for a cigarette one day and he seemed like a nice guy who'd fallen on hard times. That night I went to bed and woke up in the morning to screaming and crazy commotion. The young man overdosed on heroin in his hotel room. The owners were incentives to the mans family member. That was hard to watch. I also seen the owners yell at people with babies/ kids threatening to kick them on the street if they couldn't shut the baby up. Watch out for needles, don't walk around at night unless you have to, a lot of seedy characters around. I would not suggest bringing children here."

"It's a renovated 1960s-era motel that was clean and safe. I appreciated the dining table, coffee with a coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator. Their friendly staff quickly delivered an extra blanket when frigid weather made it difficult to sleep. It was reasonably priced and close to my mother's home and shopping,"

"If you're trying to save money during your stay in LA without sacrificing cleanliness, safety or location I would recommend staying here. The only negative was that the smell of cleaning detergent was very strong, airing out the room when you arrive is a must. Considering what you get the prices are very fair. The staff were kind and helpful. The wifi is not the very best, but it worked well enough to stream two Harry Potter films without problems. The cable clarify is very good as well. If you're Jewish this motel is near all the kosher restaurants (including bagels), Judaica stores and the Sephardi Synagogue."
