"Really nice beautiful room probably renovated really comfy king bed. Even had a steamer and fridge which we made good use of! Highly recommend! The check in and out process were very easy and 15 dollar per day valet very reasonable! And prime near koreatown location :). The staff are Korean but I had no problems communicating! Would stay there again if it's like this! And for all the good service, location, and room was quite reasonable priced too :). Thank you hotel koxie for a great weekend!"

"We had trouble since night one, we stayed 3 nights overall. Online it doesn’t say we’re required to pay valet parking it says parking on site nothing states the only parking is valet that we have to pay an ADDITIONAL $15 per night, when we brought it up to the lady at the front desk she went online to check, paused when she knew we where correct but still charged us. Then when we asked for a copy of the receipt she would not give us a copy so we took a photo which we caught her taking a photo as well. That evening I asked for an extra blanket which we received a very thin itchy one, the following day I asked for another blanket and they denied because they said the housekeeping was closed. Also the pull out couch is extremely small not like the photos, I’m 4’11” and it was even too small for me. And very uncomfortable. We where also woken up each day with banging outside from people working on the railing and things outside. The walls are very thin we could even hear the couple upstairs walking around and being intimate. Overall, this place is awful. The front desk staff was terrible, it was always something. We came from Texas and unfortunately this stay was not great."

"The property is centrally located. You can get to all parts of the city fairly easily from here. This is the only convenience. Unfortunately, the owners are not investing in or doing much to maintain the hotel. All of the furniture is worn down with nicks, scratches, peeling varnish, etc. The padding in the mattress, couch, and chairs are slack. Old furniture would be fine, but these are spoiled, broken, and worst of all not clean. The room was not clean. No part of the hotel appears to be regularly cleaned. During my stay the staff put me in a room where there was an active leak. When I told them the carpet was wet, and the wetness was spreading, staff told me that it was due to rain. Even if that was true, a normal hotel would have tried to fix it. It had not rained in 3 days, and my room was on the 3rd floor. How rain could be seeping up from the carpet near the hallway as opposed to the windows boggles the mind. More than likely the toilet was broken. It is more than likely there was a broken pipe given the toilet was also broken ( and they refused to fix or accommodate). There is mediocre security. The neighborhood is actually safe, but can seem very scary at night if you are not from LA or a dense city. There are homeless encampments adjacent to the property. Like everything else, staff does nothing to help you navigate, feel safe, or provide information. This place probably used to be a good hotel. It runs more like a hostel now, which is unfortunate."
