"Nice place, good value for DT LA. Rooms are basically 1 bedroom apartments with full kitchens/ full-size appliances. Would be a great home base for an extended stay or longer trip. The hotel itself was quiet, lots of sirens through the night, but that's out of the hotel's control. There was no onsite parking, but a 24-hour garage across the street was reasonably priced. My 4 year old left her backpack in the rush of checking out, and the manager, Saul, was wonderful to deal with and assured we got it back safe and sound."
"I really wanted to give The Haas by Wyndham, Los Angeles a five-star. We had a unique situation where we needed two beds where one could control the temperature in separate locations. Yes, we were able to do that. I also like the fact that we could open a window in the restroom. It was a spacious suite that did not provide a claustrophobic environment. However, here were my issues: PARKING: The parking across the street is a $10.00 flat rate until 6 am; you must pay another $10.00 upon leaving. When you question the attendant, they mention signs all over the entrance. The picture included makes one think you can keep your vehicle there for $10.00 for 24 hours. The parking across the street is deceiving, dirty, smelly, and unsafe. Wyndham needs to provide safe parking for their HAAS guests. Work a deal so that guests have convenient parking. This area can be a very unsafe place because of all the jewelry stores in the area. During the day, you will see armed security guards for these stores. One must be vigilant in this area, so parking around the street may be unsafe. Additionally, no front desk attendant could provide viable parking options. Everyone had a different answer which indicates there was no training on what to tell guests. Because of the lack of communication and training from management, my score for the venue is fair. NIGHTTIME: The streets will be filled with homeless people, however, the city does a good job trying to keep the streets clean. Eminent domain is the issue on the West Coast. You find homeless people in Beverly Hills. It's sad because there are so many rich people that live in LA. There are many homeless people on the West Coast in other states too. LOBBY: There is no lobby, so if you arrive early, expect to hang out at the bar next door. ROOM BATHROOM: All rooms should have LED lighting in the bathrooms. More lighting is better for people with darker complexions than bringing our own lighting. More towel hooks and garbage bins could be added too."
"My friends and I had an amazing experience at this hotel. This is by far the best hotel staff I have experienced, shoutout to Orteya for helping us check in earlier and he was kind enough to accommodate for us and give us an upgrade too. Another shoutout to Daniel, he was such an angel too, he helped out too much when we were having some personal issues and was so patient with us. Both of them helped us have the best experience at our stay, they honestly need a raise. The hotel was also well maintained and very clean. 10/10 experience!"
"How is this feeling? they tell you, your room gave to someone already , when you drive long distances with all tried family and them big baggage’s. No one call you to cancel your booking, and the reservation just made couple hours ago still in them system. They have your all information, address, name, phone, email and the Credit Card information. In the peck holidays dark night, you have to worry about where you family’s can stay for tonight. Do you still like booking with them? Thinking about it."
