"I had a great stay here for a symposium on campus. I wanted to especially call out the impeccable work of Ana Miranda in housekeeping. On her daily round Ana touched up my room, left everything sparkling and arranged things so beautifully in the bathroom that it made me actually marvel that someone could take so much care & pride in their work. I’ve never had this experience in a hotel before. Thank you Ana for your very special touch. ✨"
"The location cannot be beat for USC and the Shrine.. Hotel staff was wonderful.. Rooms were very clean and we had a renovated bathroom.. Room could have used a update .. Helpful hint.. Purchase the VIP lounge upgrade definitely worth it and forget the $35 overpriced breakfast buffet.."
"Parking instructions are unclear. God forbid you're a visitor of a guest parking there on a game day of some kind, that'll more than double your parking fee. Excellent staff and decent amenities. That parking really drags the experience down quite a bit."
"very good place! The treatment is good, the only thing is that on the page we reserved (booking) the room said that parking was free and when we arrived they charged us $40 for parking, I told the staff and they said they couldn't do anything… my ticket It was at 3 pm and when I arrived it was 2 pm they told me that if I wanted to come in earlier it would be an extra $60 plus taxes... I decided to wait until 3 pm to check in"
"My husband and I stayed here for a concert on Monday night. The check in was easy, the room was easy to find and we were pleasantly surprised we got a corner room right next to the emergency stairs. The view was fantastic, and I'll include a shot of the sunset in the review. The king bed was VERY comfortable, as were the pillows, and the sheets and blankets were clean and kept us at just the right temperature. The air unit worked just fine and we kept background sounds on the TV overnight to help block out some of the ambient noise from outside. The only small complaint was that the walls were pretty thin and I woke up once at 6:30am when our one neighbor woke up and made some banging sounds in their room. I didn't let that impact my overall rating, though, as I've stayed in much worse hotels where you could literally hear other guests fart. So being woken up just the once is more than fine for me personally. To give some background I clean AirBnbs for a living below Yosemite National Park. I'm intimately aware of how a clean and well staged room should feel and smell and look. This room definitely hit those notes for me. We were 2 blocks away from the concert venue (which meant we were able to walk there and back through the campus) and the paid parking was very convenient. It was worth every cent for the security it afforded us not having to park on the street. The breakfast buffet the next morning was wonderful, too. I especially enjoyed the apple wood smoked bacon and breakfast bites. All the staff we came across were helpful and friendly. The room was well appointed and my husband and I really appreciated all the included amenities (mouthwash, dental care, water bottles, etc.) Honestly the room service we had was the best food we had on our entire trip - I strongly suggest the avocado toast and fries. As a side note I had unexpectedly started my period out of nowhere overnight - after a brief call to the front desk the following morning they sent up 3 sanitary napkins for me totally free of charge. I was really touched at how thoughtful and kind they were to have done so. If ever we are in the area again we will stay here again gladly. Thanks to the staff for such an enjoyable stay!"
