"My husband booked this hotel as a surprise for our GetAway. He specifically requested a King size bed. When we arrived, without having let us know when we checked in, we were given a room with a Queen size bed. When we asked about it, after seeing the room, he was told that rooms were "based on availability" and "the King bed room was booked for 10 nights". The kitchen area and bathrooms were nice, however the sofa and chairs were very worn. There was only one bath towel and 1 robe provided, despite them knowing there would be two of us. But....The absolute kicker were the bloody sheets!!! found when we went to get into bed!!! Needless to say, we requested new bedding. And, We won't be back."
"I had such high hopes for this hotel but was grossly disappointed. I booked and paid for a room with a king size bed. Upon arriving in our room, there was only 1 towel and 1 robe and a queen bed. When we got ready for bed, there was blood on our fitted sheets. I called the front desk to advise them of the blood and the issue with the queen size bed. She explained that although I did pay for a room that was described as having a king bed, this was the same type of room but with a queen bed. She did bring up two unfitted sheets and was shocked that our sheets had blood on them. Disappointed does not fully describe our experience here."
"Plaza la Reina is the place to stay when you're visiting LA. The hotel room is very spacious and has a very cozy/ home-like atmosphere. The hotel staff are also very friendly and helpful. Troy and Tina are amazing concierges. The neighborhood is very walkable and there are a lot of food places around. The Getty Center is a short drive from the hotel. There are also a lot of Uber around as well. l'Il be definitely coming back here again when I'm in LA next time."
"My wife and I visited LA back in August, we stayed for about a week and Plaza La Reina made our stay absolutely amazing. Troy went out of his way to make our stay amazing in every way. On day 1 we requested a room change, Troy was extremely helpful and accommodating with this, gave us a few rooms to choose from. I even request a romantic surprise for my wife one evening and once again Troy was a huge help. Nothing but amazing things to say about this wonderful place and the top notch service. Definitely recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed."
"We have stayed at this hotel several times over the last 3 years and each time the service and rooms have declined. We decided to write a review after waiting for follow up from the manager named Mr. Philippe for over a week now and also promised before we checked out. We checked into this hotel with them knowing we had three people staying there. There were no sheets for the pull out couch and only two towels. The entire bathroom was disgustingly dirty with clumps of hair from the previous guests. There were also items left from the previous guest and stickers on the bathroom wall which made us wonder if the room had been cleaned at all. The wood floor was very sticky. On our way out the morning after our first nights stay we asked for extra towels and for someone to clean the room and showed Hiena ? the woman at the front desk pictures of the room. She assured us that someone would tend to it. When we got back there was a box that was removed from our room that we used to bring some stuff up from the car and nothing else was touched. The beds were not made the bathroom was not cleaned, but obviously someone had been in the room. I followed up in person at the front desk as I had to ask for an additional towel once again. I was told at the front desk that the manager was notified and surely someone was tasked with attending to the room. The towels were worn out with holes and certainly didn’t reflect the price and quality that this hotel would like you to think that it is worth."
