"This place is a rip off! They charged $70 for a child cut and a adult full head shave. I have been to this place multiple times and never was charged this amount. When I questioned the price I was laughed at as if it was funny to them that I was upset about the over charging. I will never be going back to this place again and I suggest anyone else that doesn't want to be basically scammed ask about the price before your cut."

"My nephew got his hair cut and he didn’t like it so I told her how he wanted and she kept insisting to do what she wanted. Then told me to sit down because I tried to tell her what he wanted. If I am paying for the haircut he should be able to get what he wants. The hair cut was $41. I will never return to this place again. Business does not define customers satisfaction."

"Felt robbed For $28 dollars was not worth a cut. I had to explain over and over to do a low a fade. They are not professional hair cutters. They are good at attending customers and "just cutting" hair. If your someone who wants fades, tapers, don't go here. They are good with regular cuts. But for the price of 28 dollars. Not worth it."

But i needed cut so i decided to keep app. Gaby was very nice, cut my hair perfectly. Salon very clean, and most important for me was my appointment time was on time I will go back again. "I have been getting my hair cut here by Monica (she does an amazing job, no doubts about that) since I first loved to Racine last January. However, this last time I went in I did as I always do.... I called in prior to coming by, I asked if Monica was there and available and they said she was. But when I get there and write my name down and whom I’d like my haircut by, I was told I am not allowed to pick and choose whom I get my haircut by. That I have to get my haircut by whomever is “next in rotation”. I politely declined getting my haircut by one if their other employees as I am now very comfortable and confident with the Monica as she has always done a great job (I tried two other employees there when Monica wasn’t there and I just wasn’t nearly as happy with my haircut as I am when Monica cuts it). However, I was told in an extremely unprofessional and rude manner that I can either take the haircut by someone else or I can leave and go elsewhere. Me being who I am, I did not accept that and I waited for Monica to be finished with her client and made my way into her chair. After arguing for nearly 10 minutes as to my right to get my haircut by whomever I choose and finally threatening to contact the owner or BBB, they finally conceited to allowing Monica to cut my hair. But not without punishment. She “lined up my side” WITHOUT ASKING which I was charged 5$ extra for and also was charged 6$ for THINNING MY EYEBROWS!!! This is something I ask for every time and have NEVEE been charged for it. I don’t know if it was because I don’t speak Spanish or because they just want to force me to accept a haircut I do not want to fulfill their own personal agenda of paying their other barbers..... but I left feeling completely disrespected, taken advantage of... and quite honestly felt very discriminated against. PLEASE BEWARE, if you are someone who like to stick to one barber because you like the job they do.... and you are not a fluent Spanish speaker.... you WILL be treated like second class ..... I have never felt such injustice and prejudice in my life at a barber of all places. A customer should be able to have THEIR haircut by whom ever they feel most comfortable with. I AM THE ONE PAYING MY HARD EARNED MONEY WHICG ENTITLES ME THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE WHAT HAIRCUT I WANT AND WHO I WANT IT FROM.... I truly feel humiliated and taken advantage of and unless they apologize and allow me to have my haircut by whomever I choose. They will have lost my business forever. And I will personally call the better business bureau to inform them of the unprofessionalism and prejudices that I encountered whilst there. Monica does a great job cutting hair.... but that establishment has absolutely ZERO respect or regard for the customer. They treat you as if you aren’t the one paying your hard earned money and tell you overtly that you have zero say so in who or how your hair will be cut.... I’m disgusted"
