"We stayed one night for a cruise. The front desk person was very friendly and nice, but that's where the good ended. Never, ever, ever stay here. The first room we had was infested (>>5 visible roaches) and had a leaking water fridge. The second room we had was terrible as well. The toilet didn't work. The shower didn't work. The door didn't work. The security lock didn't work. There was a perpetual water leak in the bathroom. The sink didn't work. The beds didn't work and were missing bedsheets, the floor and walls were filthy and broken. Honestly just look at the photos. Never come here. They need to burn it down and try again. We literally didn't shower and change clothes because everything was so disgusting Look at my photos"

"Although the staff was very nice, this hotel was abysmal. Everything about this place was bad. The elevator, trash throughout the halls, the entire floor stinking of cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking section of the hotel, the disgusting ice machines, vending machine barely worked, the shower and rooms were dirty, cigarette burns in the bed, carpet felt like it wasn't vacuumed, the TV remote was held together with medical tape, I didn't even want to walk on the floor without socks, no fitted sheet on the bed, two small pillows, rusty and broken shower curtain rings, broken cabinet, no screens on the windows, etc. Absolutely not worth what we paid to stay here."

"Absolutely disgusting!!!! From the people in the parking lot hanging out to fix their broken down vehicles while drinking and having a good time, to the lobby which was dirty and not very welcoming. The room was the worst I’ve ever stayed in. Hair in my clean wash clothes, sink clogged and full of water upon check in, sheets dirty, the list goes on. Attempted to talk to the gentleman at the front desk and he said “no help tonight maybe tomorrow”. We packed up and left immediately!! Too bad cause it’s a great location. If I knew how to post pictures I would because I room several of the filth!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Studio 6 San Pedro. The facilities and rooms were exactly what we expected; they aren't luxurious, but they are comfortable and more than just adequate. The gentleman at the reception window was very friendly and quite helpful. He pointed out a couple nearby restaurants which are within a couple blocks. Another block west of that, there are several cool shops, some of them with items made locally. The hotel's location is ideal for the night(s) before a cruise. We were able to walk roughly half a mile with our bags to the terminal without being exhausted. You can also tour USS Iowa, which is closer than the cruise terminal."
