"Really great hotel to stay in if you need a quick place for an overnight layover. 24 hour shuttle runs to get you to and from. Free breakfast starts at 5am so that's nice too. Way better than average gym Definitely higher end. Stocked with cold wash cloths and bottled water. Variety of equipment."

"The Hyatt Regency Los Angeles International Airport is a short walk from the LAX terminal, located just east of the main entrance. This hotel is in the middle of a bunch of parking lots so there is not much around the hotel that is walkable. I love the fact that you can walk to this hotel, as it could save you lots of time waiting for the hotel van, which they do have available. The front desk staff was very friendly and quickly checked me into my room. Either in the lobby or just off the lobby there is a restaurant, a Starbucks, and a small convenience store with beverages, and small bites. The styling of this hotel is modern and chic. It looks as if they recently went through a remodel as most things look new. The elevators are key card controlled, for an extra level of security. My room was nice with modern furnishings. The room accents were in bright yellow (ice bucket and the coffee station) which may sound a little loud, but it worked for me! There was a huge flat screen tv in the room, a large table, and a couch that could be converted into a small single bed. I like the use of a large table versus a desk because it makes the room homier and less office like. The bed linens and pillows were of really nice quality. Anyone that knows my reviews knows how important linens and pillows are to me. There was a mixture of foam and feather pillows available on the bed. The bed itself was a bit hard for me, but still very comfortable. I like a soft, pillow top type bed, personally. The bathroom was a bit dark, that some may find too dark to be functional. The shower was excellent, with a rain head, shower wand combination. Big bonus for their use of large toiletries in the shower instead of single use ones - Thank you Hyatt for that. This hotel advertises itself on Google Maps as a 4-star hotel. Overall, I wish I could give 4.5 stars, but since that is not possible, I am comfortable giving a 5-star review."

"Best hotel ever. It’s crazy how good the staff is here. Rooms are super clean and bed is super comfortable. Restaurant food is delicious and not as overpriced as a lot of other hotels. Shuttle to and from airport every 15 minutes is amazingly consistent. They really bent over backwards to make sure our stay was perfect. Great way to recharge before or after a flight. Better service than any 5 star hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Really can’t say enough good things."

"I typically don't write reviews but I think this one might be necessary to warn those who might be looking to book this hotel during your layover in LAX. I booked this hotel through a third party and reviews says it was exceptional for cleanliness and service; boy was I wrong. Let's start off with the multiple stains on the carpet and extremely dusty air vents. It didn't seem like this room was cleaned at all before we checked in. There was hair EVERYWHERE in the shower and a dirty hand towel inside the shower. Absolutely disgusting... Next biggest issue we had was the shower. The water pressure from the shower head was no stronger then the drinking fountain I had in elementary school. Absolutely no water pressure at all. We also didn't have any conditioner and the body wash smelt like feet with a watered down consistency. Lastly, the air conditioning seemed like it was from 2005. Very loud and obnoxious when it was on, impossible to sleep. It sounded like an old microwave... Overall I would give this a -10000/10, don't waste your money and time here. Location is terrible too."

"Better than 4 stars in my opinion. Really close to the airport with an excellent shuttle service. The one and only downside was that it took over a month to get the security deposit back. Not sure if that was the hotel's fault, my bank's fault - or my fault for using a debit card instead of a credit card (is there a difference??). But that aside, it is a pretty good place to stay, especially for a night or 2 and you want to be close to the airport."
