"I had a beach ticket to see the Mario movie. It was a good time, check-in was easy although it was tricky finding the parking lot via GPS (follow the boat cinema signs when you see them!) I was underwhelmed by the food options but it was nice to purchase a cold soda. I wish it wasn't $30 to bring your own food. The movie played without issues and it sounded plenty loud to reach the folks on boats. The employees at check-in and the food station were very kind but the guy actually running the movie didn't have a good attitude."
"Do yourself a favor and book a trip today! Shout out to the amazing couple who is keeping these boats afoalt and creating such a great experience."
"A pretty poor experience for the money. I took a date there and rented a personal motorized boat ($250). I didn't pay for the extra front-row seating, which i wouldn't say is necessary. They advertise it like you get to drive this boat around but, really you're being guided by a staff member on a surfboard and there is no real free driving (Which really, you're there to watch a movie, why would you, so its kind of a silly experience to advertise anyways). The screen itself was just a blow-up screen that was quite small for what I figured I'd get, something more along the lines of a drive-in movie theatre screen size, not something smaller than a normal movie theatre screen! The audio was pretty poor, but again its just speakers setup on the beach. The boats themselves are just tiny plastic boats, VERY uncomfortable and if you're tall (I'm 6'5"), there is minimal leg room and i found myself just jamming my legs up the middle with a pillow I thoughtfully brought before hand. Even with lots of cushions and pillows we brought, it was still very uncomfortable and about 15 minutes in, I couldn't wait to finally get back to land. Sure, it was cool watching jaws from a boat, but NOT worth the cost at all. I don't think I would have paid more than $60, knowing what I know now. Staff wasn't very helpful, there was a lot of waiting because they were improperly staffed, or improperly utilizing their staff, which were all just teenagers anyways. Not a solid experience and I cannot recommend."
"The idea of this is really cute. A few things to note: get here early, the check in process is easy but takes some time. We bought the BOY picnic option & corkage fee so we brought all our own drinks and food which worked out well! We came for my boyfriends birthday and I brought some things to decorate the boat which was fun. Watching the movie from the lake was super cool. The only thing with the boat is the seats are a bit uncomfortable after a few hours - if you have seat pads or fluffy blankets that would help!"
"HINT: Get here early if you want to experience it to beat the crowd. - The nearly $30 pizza was NOT worth it but it's a cool experience getting it delivered on the boat - $250 to rent a boat + $30 pizza and drinks add up. - Awesome friendly staff members from start to finish Great experience on a hot summer night."
