"Wow, I am truly impressed with Mason Beach Inn. Their attention to detail was phenomenal. We celebrated our 5th Wedding Anniversary and not only were staff hospitable, they truly made us feel like valued customers. It was our first time here and we were treated better than we have been at other hotels. Thank you for so much attention to detail and the wonderful card and set up you created for us in our room. We definitely will be returning in the future. I have never been to Santa Barbara, but now will be coming back in the very near future."

"We really loved this place, but when I went online after we checked in, the posted rates were quite a bit lower than the ones we actually paid. I loved the coffee, the beds were very comfortable nice big television with the type of remote, we love, and a great location. But it really didn’t offer “breakfast”. Just coffee, tea, fruit, and oatmeal. It seemed like they were trying to charge for a lot of different things, like if you wanted to check in early, have a microwave, etc. and those things are usually standard when you go to a hotel. The staff was earnest, the place was very pretty and clean, and I like the way, it was decorated. The location was excellent. If you are handicapped though, and you stay in a handicapped room, it is way on the other end of the hotel far away from the main area where the handicap parking is. That’s a design flaw."

"We have only the best things to say about this beautiful hotel. The room was very comfortable and stylish. TV worked great we even hooked up our Amazon Fire TV stick to access Netflix and that worked without issue! Our highlight was definitely the heated pool. We visited mid January so it was pretty cold outside, especially in the morning and evening, and the pool was heated to a wonderful temperature to enjoy a swim! And the jacuzzi was great, too. Adrian was working the front desk and he was so friendly and made sure all our needs were met. We really enjoyed every interaction with him! As other reviewers have already mentioned, the cookies and coffee in the lobby are amazing. And there are instant oatmeal packages for a quick bite in the morning before starting the day. We recommend nearby Jeannines for a delicious breakfast - reachable in 10 minutes and a nice walk along the beach to get there. We would definitely return if ever in Santa Barbara again!"

"Booked here for two nights on a girls trip. We stayed in a two bedroom, room and really enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent, as it was very safe and walking distance to the main area of town with many restaurant and wine options. Steps to the boardwalk for beach walks too. The rooms have been recently renovated and it shows - the level of care (extra towels provided without asking) and detail (sleep aid spray) was noticed. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool, complimentary breakfast and all-day coffee and treats, and the welcome drink was a nice touch. Parking was $15/day and easy to use."

"My husband and I got caught in Santa Barbara this morning due to a flash flood while trying to head to North California. The highway entrances were closed, making it challenging to find a way out. We decided to stay an extra night and ended up at this Inn. While contemplating in the lobby about whether to attempt our initial plan again, the staff, including a manager, were incredibly kind and helpful. They let us stay in the lobby comfortably. Fortunately, we managed to hit the highway around 2 pm. We're so grateful for their assistance and will definitely come back to Santa Barbara and stay here. Thank you!"
