"Lots of really great space to gather, and cute and modern decor. Great location walking distance to good food, coffee, and beach. If you are looking for a quiet night, this might not be the spot for you. We requested a room on the second floor to avoid noises above us at night, which was accommodated. However, we were put right next to the staircase and could clearly hear everyone using the stairs and even clearly hear every conversation people had outside our door. It appeared there was no weatherstripping around the door, and windows didn’t have much of a seal. Even with all windows and door bolted shut and we could clearly hear all the noises outside. Earplugs were provided and necessary."

"We had such a pleasant experience staying here for Thanksgiving. We used their bikes since they offer the 2 first hours for free and we had an amazing time driving them to the beach and back. The bed was so comfortable and we really liked the room and dimmable lights. I 100% recommend staying here. The location is amazing."

"We had a terrific experience at Haley Hotel. The vibe is distinctly sea/ocean (inspired by the historical Captain Haley) and relaxed in the best way. The hotel and room decor are ship & anchor themed which is super cute (our tp holder was an octopus and the door to the bathroom had an actual sensibly placed porthole; the towel hooks are the iron rope ties on a ship). Very fun! Room was spotless and spacious, with microwave, fridge, all the basic necessities plus an inviting wall fireplace, comfy rope-swing chair, and the bed—ultra comfortable with wonderfully soft sheets. We did not want to leave. Another bonus on site was the central courtyard with giant chess, table games, inviting patio furniture, and convenient easy-access parking adjacent to the general hotel property. Plus, Haley location is ideal. Short walking distance to everything on State Street! We walked easily to morning coffee, restaurants, street fair, and downtown. Beach was approx 15 min walk. We loved the casual vibe, the venue, and the location. We would return in a heartbeat."

"Our stay at the Haley Hotel was incredibly pleasant. The layout was cute, especially the expansive outdoor common area. The room had everything we could’ve needed, including a refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, coffee fixings, water, and snacks. I personally loved the nautical theme, and the cool LED fireplace display. Andie, at the front desk, was awesome, super chill, and very helpful. She also recommended excellent spots to check out nearby, which were all within walking distance. The hotel is right in the middle of everything downtown Santa Barbara has to offer. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again."

"This hotel is a true gem right in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara! You couldn’t ask for a better location. It’s right off of the lively part of State Street, and it’s also within walking distance of the beach. We asked the front desk staff for restaurant recommendations and they were really helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is a great place to hang out. There is outdoor seating, games, fire table, fire pit and even a small dog park area. The decor is well thought out and fun. The beds and bedding are quite comfortable. We would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning."
