Deer Hollow Farm Trailhead, located at 22500 Cristo Rey Drive in Cupertino, California, is a park with a 1-mile paved trail leading to the farm. Visitors can learn about local wildlife and plants, as well as see exhibits of mountain lions, bobcats, and birds of prey. The farm was settled in 1853 and offers a glimpse into daily life in the 1800s with displays of butter churners, iron stoves, and spinning wheels.
Special events, such as Spooky Times, are held to raise funds for the farm's educational programs. Visitors can participate in activities like petting lambs, feeding goats, and watching milking demonstrations. Friends of Deer Hollow Farm is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and supporting the farm's environmental education initiatives. Donations and event proceeds go directly to the farm's programs.

Reviews
"Good for trail run through wildcat loop. Ample hills and creeks along the trail."
"Lovely walk from any of the parking lots. View the farm animals, goats, pigs, chickens. Watch for the cat too. Check out the garden with signs marking what the plants are. You can even have a picnic at the tables under the open barn You'll see many wildlife on your way, deer, turkeys, rabbit, quail just to name a few. Must be quiet to find them as they are shy except the deer."
"We parked here to hike and visited the farm as well. Well paved path. Good for strollers and kids. It's a bit of a distance to the farm. Best time is early morning to avoid the sunshine. If coming after 11am, bring lots of water, sunscreen and hat. Good walk, generally easy to moderate. Parking was fairly packed when we arrived at 10am on weekend and had to wait and got lucky to Park when someone left. There are several parking in the vicinity but all get packed soon. Arrive early or be patient."
"A nice trail, not too strenuous. After the rain there's a nice creek that runs next to it which is very nice to listen to. We found some sunglasses on the trail as well, maybe someone can claim them."
"Beautiful scenery, both shaded and open trails available with different directions. my favorite place to connect with nature and myself on the weekends."
