"This was my first visit and I was immediately impressed. The front desk staff was helpful. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. David was my stylist. I had SO many compliments on my cut and color after my appointment. He was also knowledgeable and helpful (not pushy) with styling and product suggestions. I will be a regular at Salon Medusa. Be prepared with cash for tipping."

"Went last week to get a balayage. The stylist was very kind, but my hair did not turn out to be the color I showed her by picture in our consultation. I thought I might be able to make it work, so I went home and when I started to look at it closer in the mirror, I noticed all kinds of things were just not right. The transitions were hard/blunt lines, the colors weren't blended at all. There are chunks of hair that are half super dark and the other half super brassy. I emailed the owner. Sent him pictures of my results, and he didn't even bother to respond. I reached out to another Aveda Salon owner who is a parent of one of my students at the school I work, and she was "horrified" at the pictures I sent her. She asks every day if I have heard back from the owner, and her mind is blown that they are not trying to make it right when I spent over $220 (+ tip) for services. My previous salon closed, and I was excited to try a new salon right in my neighborhood that I could start coming to consistently. Unfortunately, I'm still looking."
