"Room was remodeled but the TV Channels were non existent and you could not get the local channels. Also the screen was damaged on the window in the bathroom- seems like an easy fix."

"Stunning location with the kindest staff I’ve ever had the pleasure of speaking with. The front desk clerk was very kind and understanding. We accidentally booked for the next day and he was able to help us get a room for the correct night."

"We booked a last second room for just over $60. For the price. WOW. Clean, remodeled room. Ocean view. Clean soft bed. Hot water in the shower. Coffee maker, fridge and microwave also in the room. Great location and great price. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Barely a step above motel 6 for twice the price. Greeted at the check-in desk by someone who doesn’t seem to value good customer service or experience. They were on a phone call on speaker, weird noises, awkward welcome. Barn door to the bathroom barely worked, hard to open and close. Hairs on the shower wall, thick dust covering the fan vent, questionable blood stain on bathroom doorway. TV worked well, bed was decent, heater worked. So, reasonable but lacking. We are normal people, we drive a Toyota, we expect basic cleanliness and maintenance which we did not find here. But it’s cheap, what can ya do?"

"The rooms are OK, but the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on around you. While they are pet friendly, the surcharge is significant - we ended up paying $400 for one night to stay with two dogs (before the Monterey half marathon, so this isn’t normal pricing, but still). The place was so noisy that our dogs wouldn’t settle so we ended up leaving in the middle of the night."
