"Clean rooms. Nice staff. Easy to find location. Close to Cannery Row and the wharf, as well as Monterey Bay Aqaurium. Nothing super over the top as far as hotels. It was a great price after Thanksgiving, mid week. Quiet and met all our expectations. They did have a nice breakfast selection."

"I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with this Best Western. I was charged an unwarranted $250 cleaning fee for purportedly finding cigarette butts in our room's trash can. While my father is a smoker, he strictly adhered to the hotel’s non-smoking policy and smoked only outside the premises. Lacking a proper disposal area outdoors, he responsibly placed the cigarette butts in our room's trash bin. I made sure to go over the hotel's smoking policy, and nowhere was it stated that such disposal within the hotel room was prohibited, a fact which was confirmed by the hotel staff. However, the hotel staff jumped to an erroneous conclusion, accusing him of smoking inside the room and even claimed to have photographic evidence. Throughout the entire ordeal, their approach was far from professional or respectful; instead, they showed a shocking lack of integrity. I repeatedly asked to see the supposed evidence of my father's indoor smoking, but they never provided it. Their false claims were further evidenced when I disputed the charge with my credit card company and won, since the hotel did not counter. Apart from the unjustified charges, what truly saddened me was the sheer rudeness and dismissiveness exhibited by the staff and the management, particularly from Nina and “Mr. Patel”. Customers trust hotels with their comfort, safety, and peace of mind. In this instance, the hotel betrayed that trust by choosing dishonesty over transparency and integrity. I would strongly urge potential guests to think twice before staying here. No one should have to face baseless accusations and poor customer service when they've done nothing wrong."

"This place is great. Extremely clean. Decent breakfast. The suite was great for our family. Beds are a bit firm but that’s ok. The pool is nice and warm and hot tub is great. Great location , walk to a nice French bakery, 5 min drive to Belmont beach, 10 min to the aquarium. Basic and simple but what matters most to me is cleanliness."

"Very helpful and friendly staff! Rooms are clean, roomy and newly remodeled. Free parking on site. Heated pool and a hot tub both very clean. Easy access just off highway located very close to shopping mall."

"Enjoyable coastal vibe! Loved the pool and hot tub! Great service and friendly staff! Satisfying breakfast and close to everything Monterey Bay! The only downside for us was we could hear all the movement from the people above us and we had to unplug the noisy fridge. Overall it was worth the price point for two nights."
