"Terrible service and very lacking in amenities. Complained to the front desk and was told they don't do roomkeeping services. They told us to bring our old towels down to exchange for new ones and wouldn't bother bringing them up. Exterior seemed nice but rooms had a plethora of problems. The shower was shoddy and the room had missing + mismatching lights, dirty sheets, and a broken phone. We tried contacting the front desk about the phone and nothing was fixed. When we turned the faucet, the water coming out was yellow and disgusting and we needed to contact them to get a new room. Would not recommend staying here at all."

"Stayed here with my partner is October for a fun weekend getaway/music festival we had planned. Very friendly and helpful front desk attendant and also let us park our car for an extra few hours the next day we checked out. I would highly recommend this place for its convenience near downtown and the freeway! It had very close and nearby restaurants and downtown had even more. I will say if we ever need to stay in Oakland, I will definitely feel safe here!"

"At the rate paid for the room was awesome. A glass walk-in shower with sliding doors, and a body mirror in the bathroom was awesome. Clean wrapped 6 ounce gargling cups or beverage cups. The bathroom was clean with clean towels, hand towels, and face towels. The bedding was comfortable, I could not get up. The television worked and the sockets in the wall to recharge electric appliances. Most of all, I like the studying desk. For under a hundred dollars a night, I consider it fare market value...."

"I needed a hotel room close to Kaiser for a night. This hotel was half the cost of everything else within range. Clean simple room with a big bed and TV on the wall. Newer bathroom with large shower. I believe the owner or on site manager checked me in and was very nice. Paying a quarter for ice is a little weird but small thing in compared to the value you get. Update : Have stayed a few times over the last year and every time it gets worse. Recently paid for a king bed, toilet in room given was not working, am offered another room, queen bed and smaller size in worse condition than the first. Was not offered any type of compensation. Service at desk is horrible."

"Wonderful stay at this motel. No frills and no thrills but they were much more affordable than other places. The room was somewhat spacious and really clean. They had walk-in showers in a rather large bathroom. The guy at the front desk recommended a bunch of restaurants and cafes within 5 minutes to eat lunch at. Would stay again."
