"Rooms were simple, clean and well cared for, though nothing like a modern renovated motel or hotel. The parking area and walkways to the rooms, even though they are trying with the abundance of plastic colorful flowers in the planters, are kind of bleak. Extremely close to Kaiser Hospital."

"Stayed here on a visit to Cal, very easy to arrive by the bus. However, the room was right next to the street and I heard every car that passed at night. The owner seemed a bit annoyed that my party arrived at 10:30 and I didn't realize there were a few cigarette burns in the blanket until after I woke up. Overall, the room was clean but it had a faint hotel scent as a result of the area. There also isn't good breakfast food in the area before 10 am (not at fault of the hotel). The room had a microwave and fridge, which was great, but I had a bad night of sleep here."
