"Man, this place was cheap for being right in the heart of the city. It's not fancy but it was clean and had free parking. It borders Chinatown and North Beach. There was so much food and bars and market and shopping all around. City Lights Books is just around the corner and I think the Chase Center is about a mile away. Because of all the car chaos, we walked pretty much everywhere. It was a great place to do that because as I said, everything is right there."

"My husband and I stayed here 4 nights. We felt it was a safe place, clean and pleasant. We were on the 3rd floor and had a shared balcony. Central location lots of restaurants and places to get food. Easy to catch the bus just a couple blocks away. Front desk was very nice and helpful. Maid was sweet. Only negative was no microwave."

"My mother and I stayed here for a few nights (Jan 5-8) and loved this place. Its an older building and the rooms are a bit dated but, its very well kept and clean. I had a courtyard facing room so it was very quiet. The parking lot was spotless and looked new. I was able to park my pickup in the street level parking lot and then walk/uber everywhere. The location is perfect. You are a like 100ft away from the north entrance to China Town. And directly across the street from that is the Italian district. There are so many food/shop options just right on the block. I'm a woman in my early 30s and mom is in her 70s and not once did we ever feel unsafe at this location. Every time we left/returned there was always someone at the lobby counter. I felt my vehicle was safe in the lot. I very much recommend this place and will be back in the future to explore more of the city."

"Awesome location right in the middle of North Beach/Chinatown. Dozens of great restaurants within a few blocks. Parking was good, and room was well-appointed. We really enjoyed the oversized, hot, powerful shower. Only negative was the walls were paper-thin, and our neighbors were talking loudly well into the night, which was disruptive. Bring a white noise machine or something, if you are a light sleeper."

"I didn't chose this place based on luxury or romance. It is a great place to sleep and has the basics you'd find in most motels, including: TV with Cable, coffee pot, clock, fridge, and toiletries. Also had a fan. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A big part of staying here was the included parking. This is very handy and can save you a bit of time and money compared to alternative establishments."
