Hyatt Centric Fisherman's Wharf San Francisco

"My family and I just finished our stay at this hotel and I'm really unclear why the reviews are so positive about it. We travel a lot and this is one of the worser places we've stayed at. We went with this because of the positive reviews and were shocked. The rooms were not cleaned properly (we stayed for 7 days and one night there was sand under my covers after it had been cleaned)the front desk was rude to begin with, the rooms are tiny and have no storage space to put our clothing items in the drawers. The pool situation was utterly disappointing, they call it "pool and spa" but it's an outdoor freezing pool and hot tub, the changing area is basically a bathroom, the outside was super dirty overall. We couldn't even swim the entire trip because it was chilly and the water was so cold outside. The only saving grace of this place is the location. It's located near all the tourist spots, but if you want that and find another alternative, take it."

"Overall I had a great stay. The room price was reasonable for a big city. Staff were friendly and helpful. I never felt particularly unsafe walking around the area, and it was convenient to get to various modes of public transit or easy to get an Uber/Lyft. I asked for a quiet room and was given a top floor room at the end of the hall overlooking the courtyard, which had some pool noise during the day but no issues at night/during quiet hours. I'm pretty sensitive to noise so I appreciated the quiet at night. However, there were a few irritating design flaws. 3 elevators is not enough for a hotel of this size, especially when only one actually goes to the lobby (and the mini escalator goes down instead of up). There weren't any coat hooks, which I would have appreciated for hanging up wet raincoats to dry. There was only one hook for towels in the bathroom, and you had to get into the shower to turn it on, risking getting drenched in cold water. It was still a good location and good value, so I'd stay here again."

"We had a delightful stay at Hyatt Centric. The rooms are very decent. I can do without the carpet in the room, especially since dogs stay on the floor we were on. The food is just ok. The breakfast should be more like 20 vs. 32. I will say whatever was needed to be taken care of in the room. They attended to it immediately. Luis B is the best guest associate they have downstairs. I gave him the best customer service and satisfaction. I him give his flowers and acculates. Thank you, Luis, for your kindness and for always addressing me by name. I would like to see the associates with their name tags on. Overall, they're all a good service team. Thank you for your hospitality."

"The location was excellent. Not right on The Wharf which was nice to be away from it all but close enough to walk. We walked to The Wharf and the trolley line to buy tickets, e-bike rental location, Ghirardelli Square. Check in was quick and simple . Front desk staff very helpful with directions. Room met my expectations . There is a Starbucks right down the street. All in all I would recommend on the basis of location and cost. We did the Stay and Park rate."

"The location was great, easy walk to the Wharf, the front desk was very friendly and the rooms were clean and nice. The parking was super expensive!!! We would have been better off just unerring from the airport, 65 dollars a day for parking plus all the extra taxes and fees it was just ridiculous! We booked through Priceline and paid them and at checkout we still paid the hotel like 200 bucks. May be better to just book directly through the hotel."
