"This dental office is in my preferred dental network for insurance. After going to my appointment I was charged a 88 dollar copay which I was told had to be paid immediately so I did. I then received my insurance statement and that was when I found out that this office was a preferred dentist and my visit should of had a zero dollar copay. So I called the insurance company to confirm this and they did say that I should not of been charged. The insurance company then called the dentist office and was told they didn't receive the insurance check so they would not refund me until they did. The insurance company told her they paid them on Sept 1st. gave the receptionist then check number it was paid with, the date it was paid, and again told her they knew I should of not been charged to begin with and they needed to refund me. That was almost a month ago now and still have not received any refund from this dentist office who obviously knows that I shouldn't of had a copay. So I wonder how many other people they are charging copay that they shouldn't be and not refunding."
