"Breakfast was WEAK. room was ok, couch was NASTY. Room was freeeezing, despite out best efforts. Beds sucked. Coffee across the street was good though."
"Love this hotel, when I come to Marin County I always stay here. While I was recuperating from a broken hip with surgery, the staff was very helpful. It was difficult for me to get around but they offer disability access and rooms. The staff works hard and it shows, rooms are clean, has a microwave and refrigerator in each, Cable TV, WiFi and Continental Breakfast 7AM - 9AM, the stay is very decently priced. Walking distance there are many stores and eateries. The rear parking lot is full, it's a Thursday night. There is a lot of repeat customers that frequent this hotel."
"The Manager Niven and his wife are very helpful and nice which makes checkin easy. I've stayed here before and everytime I can't complain. It's in a very good location for restaurants, stores and transportation. The rooms always are stocked, have a frig and microwave with the typical amenities. The price is very good on the weekdays, weekends a bit more but doable. It gets booked quickly so make an advanced reservation. I don't think kids would have fun, no pool or hot tub. There is not a restaurant here but a Continental Breakfast starts at 7AM in the lobby. Plenty of places to eat nearby."
"I met the owner of this hotel his name was Navin Thapa. He is not an honest person because I had a pre-reservation through a third party company but he did not accept it ( wanting me to pay in cash so he can take all the money to himself ) and he said that the reservation did not show in his system even tho I showed him the reservation on my phone. I called the third party company to solve this situation and handed him the phone to talk to them. The third party company told him that they would send an email to him to confirm my payment, but he said that he does not have an access to the email ( even tho he is the owner of the place ). The third party company told me after interacting with him that he wants to take the money to himself proving what I thought he wants from the first place. In the end the third party company refunded me. He definitely wasted my time since I was there for two hours and I hope this does not happen to anyone else. I would not recommend this place for people that are hoping to not be scammed by Navin Thapa. Notes : 1- I had a previous interaction with this hotel before, and the worker ( not the owner ) was nice, but the owner is scammer 2- this is the email from the third-party company : “ Following our phone conversation, together with our hotel partner, we were able to speak to the front desk named Navin Thapa who informed us that he cannot find the booking in the hotel system. We advised the front desk to open his email as we have sent an email confirmation of the booking with details, but then again the front desk insisted that he doesn't have access to open the email to assist your check-in. The front desk insisted that for you to check in, you needed to pay upfront at the hotel to make an all-new booking and for the hotel to accommodate you at this hour. Here at our end since the hotel does not want or cannot confirm the booking, will process a refund of the reservation. The refund amount will be put back to the card used when you made the reservation. Please allow a few hours or depending on your card issuer how soon the refund amount will be updated in your bank statement. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience caused. “"
"Definitely a 1-2 star hotel. I expected more for the price. Rooms were very basic. I stayed in an ADA room because that was all that was left. If I was wheelchair bound, I wouldn’t have been able to reach the iron and hair dryer that were left on a basket on a high shelf. Staff were rude on the phone when I called about an issue with booking, when I called about checking in late, and when I checked in. No one was there when I tried to check out. The parking lot is really tight when it’s full and I definitely wouldn’t leave anything in your car or walk around at night. The “breakfast” really isn’t much. No cups for juice, just a bagel or two and yogurt. I definitely won’t be back."
