Pacifica Beach Hotel,

"I do not recommend staying at this hotel. When we arrived, there were 3 cockroaches on the bed and then there were 2 cockroaches in the bathroom. Also when we would flush the toilet, the handle kept breaking off. The room pictured on the website looks nothing like it in person. The room looked like a cheap beat up motel 6 room."

"First time here, not the last! Livia and Destiny were the most gracious and accommodating hostesses. The Jacuzzi (yes, brand name!) was a perfect way to unwind. Comfy bed, beautiful ocean view... Even during construction, disturbance was minimal."

"a little disappointed with the room, needs some updating, jacuzzi water was cloudy, the views were nice bc the beach is right here. Poor cleanliness, i know the beach is right there but i didn’t expect roaches or rats during my stay :/ the beach will always be beautiful but the hotel should at least try to match up to it."

"The place needs some upgrades ok...but @that price it didn't disappoint. The views are great and the hot tub was a real treat. Upgrades are needed there, for sure. It was nice."

"The bathroom had issues. You had to hold the toilet handle to flush all the way. There was a leak from the ceiling, so a puddle in the morning. Then the ants came. And the water in the shower never got super hot, only warm. Then there's the holes in the walls. Plugs that don't fit chargers. Funny rules for when you can use the jets in the tub (why have a tub if you can't use it after 9pm). Employees we talked to there were all nice but when telling the front desk everything that was wrong in the bathroom at check out, she didn't write anything down. So either they already know about it and don't care or they just don't care. Would not return. Would not recommend to others"
