Sparta Family Dentistry

"I will talk about my experience at working on getting my teeth pulled and getting upper dentures and lower partials. I do have insurance, I do have a job, however I'm not rich and don't drive and they were aware of that.Last year we started the talk about dentures, we talked about temporaries and they informed me that with my insurance and if I couldn't afford the temporaries I could just get my teeth pulled then and go almost a year without teeth until I could get my permanent dentures. I have to say, that threw me off. Why would a person do that? What am I supposed to drink out of a straw for a year? I should have left then. They don't pull all your teeth there and do dentures, fyi. They referred me to a place in Onalaska in which I choose not to go to because I owe them $300 from 20yrs ago ( just being honest). I informed them of that, they then sent me to south of lacrosse to Gunderson clinic which is far away and incredibly expensive. I had 1,410 in my account with Sparta family dentistry. I decided to go somewhere else, where it can all be done in one place and hopefully feel like they're not just after money. Maybe care a little bit? So I called Sparta family dentistry to get my money out of my account to use for another dentist. I had just been to Sparta family dentistry a few weeks or so ago for a teeth cleaning. Because of my insurance I get two cleanings a year that are covered. This one was covered I got my check from them yesterday, from my account. Of course it was short, they charged me for an exam when I got my teeth cleaned. All she did was look in my mouth for a minute, say a couple words and that was it. $45 for that. Unusual since they had just been in my mouth cleaning. I was informed that my insurance wouldn't cover the exam because I was at my limit for the year. It was an unnecessary charge and an unnecessary "exam". I was upfront with them about my money and travel situation. My money in my account that I've been working so hard to save and they just had to take a little more from me. In fact they were scheduling another useless exam in December. Overall, I feel like they are just money hungry and really no care for their clients. Id advise anyone in the same situation going to this dentist to definitely get a second opinion and be as educated as you can about your teeth. It isn't even 2024 yet and the dentist here was already talking about my quote for my dentures going up because of the cost of living in April of next year.. How would she know what's going to happen then?? Very bad vibes from this dentist from the start and wishing I had gotten a second opinion immediately. Waste of my time and money. The staff here though is great with the exception of the dentist and that's the only good review I can give them. If you go here, get a second opinion!"

"I have been going to this place for a couple of year now and the service is always great. They are very respectful of your time and always start at the schedule time or even earlier if you arrive on time. The service is also great as they give you good feedback on how are your teeth and also give you some recommendation on what needs to improve. I went with the intentions to get some to get my teeth straighten up at the orthodontics and they even make a call to the orthodontics office to give them my info and what I needed to do to speed of the process of my appointment."

"Sparta Family Dentistry is the best in town! I loved them so much after my first few visits that I moved my whole family over, and my family loves them too (even the kids!). They are thorough, gentle, and inform me about oral care for myself and my family. The waiting area has a nice environment and receptionists are warm and friendly.
