"Checked out multiple trails throughout the state and national park and this one was a favorite. Big Tree is a Definite see and the Cathedral Tree is excellent. There are some places where I must have missed a sign or it wasn't marked, but it's fine because it leaf to the Prairie Ranger Station and Gift Shop where it was easy to get back on track (and I'd planned on visiting anyway). It only added about half a mile. Make sure you plan enough time to just stand in the trail in awe and take a ton of pictures."
"This is a very impressive tree. It is estimated to be over 1500 years old. There is a boardwalk at the base of the tree. Very easy to get to from the road, parking area, or any number of other trails."
"Nice place for hike and to see huge trees! Loved the drive as well."
"The trees are big! Great little loop with some enormous Redwoods. Super easy to park right off the road."
"Great hike if you find a park spot when visiting the park on the busy season! It’s a short walk to see all the tallest redwoods and they’re all incredible! Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area!"
