"We had a great stay here because of Lisa. She was very welcoming and friendly, accommodating our last minute late arrival. Lisa made sure we were all set with a lovely spot on the river and we appreciated the clean facilities."
"General Impression: Quaint and peaceful campground set aside the Klamath river. Smaller but memorable. Limited amenities in the winter, but great spot to get away from the city. Cost $60 / night military discount Campsite: well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing. The campsites might be a little tricky to navigate with a big rig when the campground is full. Campsite # 32 Campsite Level: yes, no need for leveling blocks. Campsite Type: asphalt pad with grass surround, pull through. Full / Partial hookup: 50 & 30, #thifty Sewer does require a sidewinder because grass yard is raised from the pavement. Water: Bring your own water for drinking due to chlorination. Water is clean but could upset sensitive stomachs. Picnic table at our site: yes Grill: no Fire Ring: no Wifi: yes, Starlink for the campground. Cell service was extremely limited. Propane fill: yes Dump station: no Amenities: Bathrooms: yes Showers: yes Dumpster easily located: yes Laundry: 3 washers and 3 dryers and $2.00 wash and $1.00 dry Pool: no Playground: no Other facilities: Fishing off of seasonal floating docks on the Klamath River. Recreation room with sofa and recliner, tv, DVD library, puzzles, board games and lending library, tables and chairs for playing games, cards, or doing puzzles. Small community kitchenette. Dog friendly: Location and size of area: no off-leash area, but several medium grassy areas to walk the dogs at the front of the park. Pick up bags and trash can stations: yes, fully stocked on either side of the park towards the main road. Camp store: None. Camp staff interactions: We had multiple interactions with Lisa the campground manager as well as other members of staff and everyone was exceptionally kind and helpful. Lisa, in particular went out of her way, to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible. We arrived late in the evening after calling the same day for a spot due to a mechanical failure with our trailer. She came out to help us find the best suited spot and made sure we were settled comfortably for the night. Additional info: The only store with necessities is located about a mile down the road in the form of a gas station. Prices there are high! Trees of Mystery is only about 4.5 miles away and is a lot of fun. We definitely recommend the Skywalk along the canopy (only accessible for children and adults capable of walking unassisted) and riding the Gondola to the peak. The ocean is nearby and if you are lucky you may get to see a herd of elk. Plan to do some stargazing and don’t forget your fishing pole!"
"Place has a nice view. The owners there know that near the end of the RV park is where a lot of theives park and didn't tell us. And we got robbed of our bikes that were 14k in total and then told us after we got robbed and we had been getting stalked way before that. The bikes were locked, too, and they had bolt cutters. Also, water tasted like chlorine even when filtered. I also see this place is rated "kid friendly," but it ain't. Some creeps would pull up and watch me and my little siblings then drive off. Don't let your kid out alone it's very shady."
"We stayed here for 4 nights. It is very close to HWY 101, so it is a bit loud. The view of the river is good. Spots are a bit tight width wise. My main complaint is we stayed on the south end of the park and there is an open parking lot there. The caretakers failed to mention that they have a high theft rate on that end of the park due to that open parking lot. So we got $10k in bikes stolen even while locked up. They could at least put up a fence to keep that side safer or warn guests..."
"Very nice rv park had pull through's along with river front views. Was a little expensive. Had 50 amp power water and sewer. The pavement was narrow in the parking spots. We were in a 40 ft motorhome and had to park our car on a angle to fit both on the site. We arrived on a Sunday to find most of the rv parks closed luckily we found a employee who was able to check us in. I would recommend this place."
