"Visited a friend. No showers for 3 months. No laundry for 2. Clean, cheapest rate around."
"The owner/manager is VERY nice and accommodating. We felt comfortable. Spacious tent spots with option of car-camping. The location is an excellent base "camp" to go further up north or into Arcata. The shower is large. The toilets could be unclogged more often - my only complaint. Only one toilet available at a time. Although most are RVers, so they have their own access. Also, people can have dogs, which is great, but they should pick up their poop. Just sayin'. But, I would definitely go back to Widow White because it's quiet, centrally located with really nice staff."
"It was an okay spot but don't think I would pick that spot again. The toilet was leaking the whole 5 days so you had to walk thru toilet water to use the bathroom. Half of the time they were full and clogged....that happens right.. The kicker was all the cockroaches. We loaded some of our things up to cook at the fireworks show. When we arrived to unload the whole bed of the truck was full of roaches.....so there goes all that camping stuff in the trash, and had to deroach our vehicle cause don't want to take those critters home. Staff was friendly and tryed to fix the bathroom, but it didn't work."
"We were evacuated due to a wildfire and needed a place to stay. Manager was very kind and made last minute arrangements to get us a space. Didn't use bathroom or shower facilities. Small park. Some long term visitors (fishermen). Very friendly."
