"This was one of my best hotel experiences in that it was quaint and cozy, there was even a fireplace! I enjoyed the room and the front desk employees were super sweet. It is a great location if you’re in town for the Redwoods. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming up north of San Fran!"

"Our Avelo evening flight was cancelled and I had to scramble to find a place to stay the night with my senior parents and luckily we were able to book into this hotel which is walking distance (but they also provide a shuttle). Tim and Kara did an excellent job handling the sudden rush of stressed-out travelers. They went way above and beyond managing the chaos Avelo had created by sending contradictory texts to the passengers who thought they all had to return to the airport when the delayed plane finally landed an hour after we'd all checked in. They kept everyone informed, calmed down and in good spirits--it was world-class/5-star resort service done with genuine warmth and concern and I know we're all incredibly grateful for them. The rooms were spacious, the bed was great and the breakfast had lots of good options and was a huge convenience for anyone without a car who needed food to sustain them for another 10 hours sitting around an airport with limited dining options and 3 planes full of waylaid travers. The lobby was adorably decorated also, so there was a lot of care and maintenance put into managing this location. Thank you again!"
