Elk Meadow Cabins

"I stayed in a studio & felt the room was an amazing value! had everything that a hotel would have, HOT shower, comfy bed (good pillows!), fridge, coffee, microwave. The room also had a giant air purifier which I was grateful for because it kept the room feeling clean & fresh, despite the entirety of the redwoods park being damp 24/7. I will 100% stay here again when I return, because the location to a lot of good trails is perfect. I cannot comment on any of the other advertised amenities, because I just enjoy getting on the trails."

"We stayed at the Elk Meadow cabins this weekend while touring the redwoods. The location was perfect: easy access to Fern Canyon and the Newton P. Drury scenic drive, plus it was about halfway between the Mystery Trees and Eureka, which made it easy to visit both. In addition, the elk made a very sweet appearance when we first arrived. Peaceful, convenient, and beautiful."

"We needed a place to wait out the weather so we could enjoy the area. This place was perfect! The cabin was very clean and we watched elk stroll by right outside our door. And being right next to Prairie Creek park and Fern Canyon we couldn't have asked for more. I'd highly recommend staying here."

"We pulled into the parking lot and there was a huge elk in the front yard of one of the cabins. It was a good start to the stay! I was especially thankful for the little washing machine and dryer set inside the cabin. Very simple living, but it did the trick for the evening!"

"Myself and several others stayed here for a fire assignment, as there was no "fire camp" set up. The owners were very accommodating to our unpredictable schedules and it was so nice to have a cozy, comfortable room to stay in, as opposed to sleeping in tents or on the ground. It was lovely to see the elk each morning too."
