"We really would have liked to have had a suite, especially when with an indoor hot tub, however they were all booked. It was last minute on our part so that's on us. We were able to get a standard room with a king size bed and we were happy with that. It was a little stylish, it had more amenities than expected and overall it was probably bigger than most standard rooms. We did not get to check out the pool which I was very excited about but we did get a late check out which we were grateful for. The staff was friendly and I look forward to doing it again with a little planning."

"Okay, so the rooms are a little dated, and the mattresses have definitely seen better days, but it's a clean and quaint roadside hotel. Breakfast was good. The kids loved the pool, and the murals and open space were great . Erik (maybe with a "c") was super helpful when we checked in. The other staff were not great, slow to respond and treated us as a minor annoyance, but for the price, what a deal!"

"A great value for the price, located in between Eureka and the Redwood forests. Nice murals give a good ambiance to the place. The room was basic but comfortable and everything worked as it should. A very nice pool area as well. Friendly reception and no problems checking in after hours. Would definitely stay here again."

"My wife and I and 8 month year old daughter were driving up the coast and needed a place to crash for the night. WE absolutely loved the vibe here. It was so cute. The entry way had a cool mural of area with key places to visit. The breakfast bar was filling and just right. WE went to our room and it was right near a little outdoor seating area with the perfect amount of strings lights. 10/10 would stay here again."

"Where do I start. The appliances in the room are loud! The bed seriously needs to be updated . It was so uncomfortable I got about a half an hour sleep through the night. So basically none. I was exhausted on my adventures the next day but still had fun. Also not to mention the creaking around the room I honestly think this place might be haunted. Also I can hear the man next door snoring through the wall. The “white” towels were literally brown and when you showered the water wouldn’t drain so you’d bathe in your filth from the hike you’ve just done lol The breakfast was a small regular white bowl of yogurt with a spoon and a granola bar broken up into pieces into another bowl with a regular silver spoon and tiny paper bowls to scoop it for yourself and cold hard boiled eggs. Biscuits and odd looking sausages. The coffee was horrid . On top of everything there was a 4.6 and a 3.something earthquake at around 3am which made our night haha What a night lol The front desk guy was very kind and helpful since he switched our room twice but it was still the same problem in each room … overall we will definitely not be staying here again when we come back up and I hope to save others from this experience as well because the photos here definitely sell it but the rooms need work."
