"Go somewhere else! The photos make the property look like a nice 2 story motel. In actuality it is a 2 story facade (which you see the photo of) with a one story strip, side of the highway motel. The room has goodwill quality furniture and the sink for bathroom use is also the kitchen sink. Ick."

"Great location for visiting Ferndale! It is located right in the heart of downtown, so everything is within walking distance. The hotel is tied to a lovely general store. Staff is super friendly. I was impressed with the rooms. I have stayed at several older, historic hotels and this one has been the roomiest and coziest by far!"

"This motel is perfect for what it provides, a basic room with bathroom and sitting area within walking distance to all local shops and restaurants at a very reasonable rate. You couldn't ask for a better location. If your desire is to sit inside a hotel room and order room service to watch the big box on the wall, this place is probably not for you. However, if your desire is to have easy to and from access to downtown, and experience the charm of Ferndale and it's local shops and eateries, without having to commute in and out, this place is for you! Park your car and explore."

"A home away from home. The people at Redwood Suites (Victorian Inn) in Ferndale, CA are wonderfully nice people. I was here for work in 2023 and decided to come back to vacation here in Northern CA for 2 weeks. Chose to come back to Redwood Suites because the room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and convenient. Also enjoyed having wifi here since my cellular provider is non-existent in this part of the country. We enjoyed dining at the Victorian Inn and made it a staple of our vacation. Lots to do in this area and lots of places to just decompress. The town folks are super nice and friendly. We got a warm reception everywhere. Kudos to the local business chamber and business owners and town folk for emphasizing people and humanity over politics."
