I think it's worth the trip to see for yourself. I honestly don't know why anyone wouldn't give this store a 5 star or at the least a 4 star based on you can't please everyone 100 percent of the time."

"Nice specialized bookstore in North OC focused on military history, scifi, and fantasy. Owner has encyclopedic knowledge of genre writers and screenwriters, having met a lot of them. Right next to Anne's Book Carnival, visit both! EDIT: Glad this place still exists. Just a treasure. Hope the owner can keep on keeping on!"

"Lots of good old stuff in this place (Books, Magazines, Comics, etc) It's a hidden gem. Business owner is retired and you can tell he's not in it for the money but for the love of old stuff. Very reasonable prices."

"Okay store. Okay experience. The owner has impressive selection of military/world war books. Most of the books are however overpriced for used books. Asked if they have any section for a dollar or something, the person working there said: "No we are not 99 cents store." Quite unnecessary really. You sell used books. This is not exactly Harrod's."

"GREAT science fiction bookstore and super nice guy. I made a pilgrimage from Los Angeles, and SO glad I did. Vintage Heinlein, Clarke, and Asimov, as well as THE BEST selection of vintage paperback Alfred Bester and Frederic Brown and many others. I'll be back!"
