"Every potential customer should read the many reviews that all have the same theme; POOR QUALITY and TERRIBLE customer service. I am a three time customer of Pampa since 2010, my recent purchase in July 2023 I received poor quality and defective furniture sold by Alec, I have been attempting to resolve with them since Aug 2023. I They refuse to make it right. My issues with their quality isn't my opinion. It’s factual. Alec claims everything is “normal”. Yet he also says he doesn’t know what the issue is. Very interesting. Many emails and visits to the store to speak with Alec, Ive offered for someone from Pampa to come inspect the couch and rug. THEY REFUSED-then 2 months later suddenly want to inspect. Yet, they claim they have no idea what’s wrong. They have been emailed, told multiple times and obviously they are reading my reviews yet continue to claim they have no idea what’s wrong. They offered 5% refund-$180. A joke! This goes to show how PAMPA values their products and their customers. I was charged additional $1000 for “high performance” fabric. I explained I wanted FIRM cushions. Didn’t get firm. The cushions are crooked, each cushion is different-lumpy and bumpy, frame is uneven. The finishing is terrible. I’ve included some pics below. The rug I purchased sheds worse than any dog yet Alec claims this is all “normal”. These items are defective. Their customer service person Karina/Karen made excuses why they couldn’t deliver, they refused to commit to any particular day or time and made this the most difficult delivery experience I have ever had. Some of the excuses the customer service liar Karen/Karina gave me was the delivery truck broke down, suddenly the delivery driver quit, they have to borrow a truck from an employee, on and on! When I asked to speak to a manager she claimed there was nooone above her, when I asked to speak to the owner, Dolores Caffaro, she claimed she was on permanent vacation. Unreal! I was so fed up with the lies that I had to go talk to Alec in person to get my items delivered. He told me he knew how horrible customer service is but there is “nothing he can do about it” unless I emailed the company. I did email. Turns out the email goes to Alec! Round and around and no resolution. IMO they are dishonest and don’t stand behind their “custom” work, they are nice up until you pay. To sum this business up with Alec’s own words, “we have been in business 33 years and a complaint or lawsuit wont affect our business”. I did file a lawsuit and they of course delayed our court date. Games galore. Alec pretends he doesn’t understand the issue, yet offered to restuff the cushions. You cant restuff defective fabric! I offered a compromise-make new cushions. They refused. They purposely request cash/check. Why? Because then you can’t dispute it with your credit card. PAMPA looks out for PAMPA IMO. If you read other reviews of this business, I find them to be very accurate of what you will likely experience as well. Their reply here is an absolute LIE. I never refused an inspection initially, they contacted me in Oct 2023 more than two months later for an inspection and after they received a letter of demand before lawsuit filing. Too late! BBB complaint was closed because we couldn’t come to a resolution. What the BBB doesn’t tell consumers is the BBB doesn’t actually address anything, they only offer a platform for both parties to communicate amongst themselves. Their lies continue-they typed up their own BBB response below. After 2 replies BBB automatically close it as “addressed”. I complained upon delivery and then started to look closer. The stuff is falling apart so the issues have gotten worse. All Alec does is lie and deny. It is now the reason I don't want them in my house because they are so dishonest. They are very busy responding to my reviews yet haven’t taken any time to correct their defective furniture. Hey Pampa, why don't you make things right finally?"

"Be careful with these guys. They will promise you a delivery next week, have you sign a contract that says no refunds or cancellations and then ignore your calls and inquiries when the object has not been delivered for over a month. That is what happened to me. When I called to cancel, miraculously it was in and they would deliver it to me for free. When I said it's too late, they said they would not return my money. Customer service is not a priority. Taking your money without providing a product seems to be OK with these guys."

"Set up a delivery of a rug from this store that I had to cancel because it was unavailable after being told it was there for pickup. Was then delivered the wrong size rug. I was told a replacement would arrive within one week and after 3 weeks it has not arrived after being told it was there last week and the manager is unwilling to take any accountability or offer any discount. Horrendous customer service."

"From start to finish a fantastic product and great service, Alec kept me up to date with the order and delivery, I love my new sofas! Excellent service and good communication. I would definitely use again."

"Very bad bad custom service and items! I had the worse experience there, starting with the sales person Alec or Alex, something like this, he would say yes to everything to sell , then once we had the forniture delivered, most of everything was wrong included the delivery date ( and the delivery persons were rude too ) ! we bought 2 bedrooms set, a couch and few chairs : 1 of the bedroom size was completely wrong, I specified several times the height I needed, and I had witness with me, and after delivered he said that that's what I've ordered ( I swear I know what size I need and what I asked for). Same problem with the couch that suppose to be higher and after contacted him multiple times, we finally spoke to a supervisor or manager saying that she would have taken care of all our issues, and after over 9 months still nothing , never been contacted again, and I've also been told by the same sales person that we could have gone to the court if I wasn't happy with the items, cause I have signed a contract : yes a contract where he put the wrong sizes and he was rushing me to sign it! End of the story after few months we are not happy at all with what we bought ( a lot ) so we had to sell the forniture for a cheaper price and gor new ones, from another store!"
