"Not a very positive customer experience. Retuned a few items (about $70) and was provided a Home Depot gift card since the original purchase was made using a gift card from Xmas. After shopping for about 20 minutes i had about $200 in items, as part of the payment I tried to use the gift card i was just given and was told it had a $0 balance and i need to go see customer service. I was told the card was “pending” when i asked what that meant the associate couldn’t explain what it meant so i asked to speak to the manager. The manager arrived (I believe associate manager) i asked why the “pending” and all he could say was should work but could take 24 hours. I smiled and said are you serious all i got back was “so you are trying to use the card now?” Like it was strange to use a gift card 20 minutes later. Worst customer service ever experienced."

"I recently discovered that they have tool rentals now. This was great because I was ready to buy a heavy duty hammer drill, but I could rent one by the hour for way cheaper. I just had to buy the drill bit. Great service, would use again."

"After seeing all the water damage to the wall and carpet in our hallway, I discovered a pinhole leak in a copper pipe in the wall. I rushed over to Home Depot and unfortunately didn’t make it on time and the doors were locked. I knocked and explained my situation and instead of turning me away.. they were very professional, nice and went out of their way to get me what I needed for the repair. Thank you so much, you ladies are amazing"

"I had visited three different Home Depot stores to find a particular ceramic pot, and while the website indicated each had the pot I wanted in stock, I couldn't ever find them, and the workers at those stores couldn't either. When I came to San Pedro, I was in the garden dept, disappointed again that I still couldn't find my pot in this store, which should have had 20 in stock. Mario was freshly off clock and still had his apron on, noticed I was frustrated and offered to help. He found the whole pallet of pots high up in the outdoor garden and promised he'd have one pulled for me at the service desk the next day, then thanked me for my business and was SO kind; it turns out he manages this location. Next day I called ahead, spoke with Amanda, and she assured me there would be one at the service desk within the hour. Venessa went and pulled my item, making my final store visit in search of this elusive pot a 5 minute transaction; other workers asked me every few steps if they could help carry it out for me and basically everyone I interacted with was beyond kind. The pot is perfect! And it's so pretty and well made that my mom in Florida wants a few now, too :)"
