"RUN! I’ve been waiting -YEARS for them to rectify their wrong. Wrong color custom couches (employee error) were ordered and waited almost 6 months for my order! Couch cushions are too short, store credit was only partially received and it is an act of GOD to get anyone to respond, hold accountability or rectify! No one ever answers the store phones, returns VM, or emails. Couches were damaged on delivery and I’m still waiting for any kind of response! They could be the best but choose to be the worst! Sickened I have them so much money only to be out what I was owed! No accountability and reaching the owners is a joke. They only put it back on the staff. I have the emails to prove! Never again."
"Giving the next customer heads up before they decide to buy from Modshop. You will be taking a gamble. I too experience what most customer posted. They never call you back, takes forever to respond back by email. I never heard of Modshop and before I make a big purchase I wanted to inquire about a desk so I orginally called there customer service line which they do say give them 2 days to respond which I never heard from anyone. The fourth day I emailed but was very vague when responding. I decided to call 2 of there locations to finally get a hold of someone. In the meantime this is when I decided to check there reviews and BBB because I was hesitant to purchase. Well, I finally spoke to the Owner John briefly and was supposed to email me a quote/invoice so I can make an executive decision to purchase or not. In addition, didn't want to have a miss communication on my order price, style, how long to make etc. I gave him all my information that was needed to email it to me. 2 days later nothing, called to follow up, spoke to his son and was told he'll give John my name and number to get back with me. 3 to 4 days later emailed Mitch and he told me he'll get with him regarding pricing and send me an invoice. Here we are weeks later no invoice so that I could purchase the desk after reviewing the invoice. I finally figured they are not interested in my business and I shouldn't have keep calling a retail store to bug them to send me an invoice. At the end I didn't purchase a desk. I felt like I would have been one of those customer who would had issues, problems with my order And would have gotten the run around. Good luck to the next potential customer! If they keep this up how they treat customers, I wouldn't be surprised they won't stay in business-"
"NO STARS! Don't order from here! I ordered a desk online on 4/16. My desk was scheduled to arrive in June. July came and it still hadn't arrived. After leaving multiple VMs and emails to MODSHOP, I finally got a hold of someone on the sales team. I was told it was back ordered and would be two more weeks. Two weeks went by and nothing, no one called me to update. NOTHING. So I reached out again and was told the person responsible for my order was out the office and I'd needed to call back the following week, so I did. I spoke to a lady (didn't give her name) who assured me the desk was complete and on a pallet in the warehouse waiting to be shipped. She said it would arrive by August. August came and here we are...NO desk. So I called two weeks ago and spoke to what sounded like the same Lady. She assured me again that the desk was on a pallet waiting to be shipped and it would now take two more weeks. She said "You will receive it by 8/19." Today is 8/18 I called to confirm everything was on schedule to arrive tomorrow and was hung up on by a male rep, who was very Rude. I called back, and finally the Lady answered, and said she was looking up my order and would call me back, I asked if I could stay on hold while she did that. After a few minutes she came back and said it would be an additional two more weeks. When I expressed my concern she giggled and said " I'm only telling you what the shipment company is showing in the system. It says 2 more weeks." I find this very strange and alarming!!! At this point I just want to cancel my order and dispute the charges with my bank. I don't understand why they think it's okay to take someone's money and not deliver the product, but it's absurd. Will NEVER order here again."
"Bought a sectional that I was able to customize which turned out great. It’s really comfortable with awesome material. Even has a bed attached in case my company needs somewhere to lay their head. A+++. Was well worth the wait."
"I ordered a custom built-in banquette and dining table from ModShop. When I first went to pick it up 5 months later it wasn't what I expected and not comfortable. SO guess what they did!? They completely remade the bench and dining table. I am beyond thrilled with the result and the quality. Thank you so much for making my design dreams come true ModShop!"
