"I really loved this place, sadly the gentlemen working tonight (2/23/24) convinced me never to return. I tend not to engage with extraordinarily rude people and did not make a fuss, but the behavior of the clerk was really, truly gross."

"What service! I called the store to check if they had a particular item in stock. They had one bottle on the shelf. I didn't even say I was coming in to get it. When I got there, they had pulled it from the shelf for me! Not the easiest location to get to. Very limited parking. I am not a fan of downtown Ashland."

"The lady in the shop was really nice and they have a lot of inventory. They didn't carry my husband's brand of cigarettes there but other than that it was a pretty good place. Great selection of liquor"

"The only store you can get locally made Pioneer Whisky at. The one in Talent (where it's made) decide they wouldn't carry it anymore. The Ashland Liquor store has good cigars too and lotsa' great single malts. Nice little store, and Don the manager is good about ordering special requests."

"Wow. I am impressed not only by the selection, but by the knowledge of the staff. The running joke around town, and in other reviews, is to avoid the days when the soggy, drunk girl is working, and to go when the articulate woman is there. I can say now that I have experienced both, and the reviewers and word-of-mouth advice was accurate. There is an older girl who is typically drunk, and last time was no exception. Vapid and drunk do not begin to describe her. She was drunkish at the store, and wasted every time I've seen her in public. The knowledgeable woman is considerably younger, maybe 30s, and smart. Like, witty and intelligent. I went in today, and she was working with two older men. One had no product knowledge, the other was surly and fake in his scripted replies. The younger woman helped me find a local gin and a bourbon. She was able to describe the flavors of them in ways I could easily understand, and I'm incredibly happy with my purchases, unlike the older girl who sold me Bacardi as a "good rum". I will be going back to learn more about all the different types of liquor, as long as the younger woman is there."
