For years, I had been looking for a high quality American Smooth dress that I could see myself wearing for a long time to come. I was not finding what I wanted in the ready-made dresses, so I took the plunge and started working with Emilia at Glamour Gowns on a custom piece. She listened to everything I said I wanted in a dress, and made it all happen - to exceed all of my expectations! There were some setbacks along the way - COVID and BREXIT delayed production in ways we did not anticipate. Emilia kept me posted on progress, and made sure I knew what was going on through every step of dress construction and final delivery. We did everything remotely through video conferencing and emails - all of Emilia’s instructions are clear, and the results are spectacular."
