"I do not doubt the only other review posted here during the pandemic. However, I too am a veteran and had a completely different experience. Waited to write this review until I had been using it for several months. So many times our first experience with something is great but we encounter issues down the road. I can truthfully say I am so pleased with this desk and service I am writing a review. Something I never do. Desk was pretty easy to assemble. You build it upside down. So you will probably need a second person to help you turn it over upon completion. Unlike other desks I looked into there is zero movement with the height extended! I have the cross piece near the bottom that helps stability and hiding cables. The manufacturer, Apex, is not set up for walk in customers. Not even a showroom. I did not know this when my wife and I drove over to view an actual desk. Despite that, the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Showed us what we wanted to see and answered all our questions. Both pre and post purchase. After using it these months it has performed flawlessly. If you are thinking about getting a standing desk buy this one. It is solidly built. You wont regret it. There has been some comments on Costco about the lowest height. The digital screen says 30" but is actually measures 29.5" (I have factory pads to protect my wood floor). One tip buy a hard foam standing pad. Your back will appreciate it. lol"
"Do not order anything from this company. I am a disabled veteran and the VA vocrehab program ordered me a sit/stand desk so I would be able to change positions while taking online college classes. I have tried on multiple occasions, over the past 3 weeks, to call and email the company to get an expected delivery date as I am not able to do any lifting due to major back issues. As of today, 9/30/20. I have still not heard from them. I have tried calling sales, support and even pressing zero. The voicemails all say that they are on the phone and they will get back to you as soon as possible. I received an email 2 days ago informing me that my desk is going to arrive on 10/2/20. So they can’t communicate with the customer but I’m sure they have already billed the VA. What a joke. I am cancelling my order and will just get one from someone else. I would rate this company at a zero if I could."
