"Had a wonderful time going through the store. Denis shared many stories about the past and races he has held. I bought a Pinerallo frame from them and it was a great experience. I would highly recommend them and taking a bike in."
"Apparently I didn't read the reviews. This bike shop will Bait and Switch you by saying they will charge you for a $60 tune up and then you'll end up paying $180 without a phone call to see if this is acceptable for you. I brought in two bikes for a $60 tune up each and was also looking for a trainer. I could buy off Amazon, but wanted to support local. I was told they had "evaluation" trainers that they would sell. It looked like there was no box or instructions but they assured me they would take me through how to use it. I wondered about the warranty though. I was going to come back anyway and had time to think. Was told the bikes would be ready in a week and if anything came up with the tuneup they would call. A day later I got a call from the guy saying he wanted to sell me his personal trainer that he bought for $599. He said he would sell it to me for $350 but I told him I wasn't willing to spend that - he immediately dropped the price to $300. I was a little suspicious and asked if this put him in a difficult situation with the shop as I had said I was buying one from them. He said, "no one has to know." I told him I would think about it. A day later he called to say the bikes were ready! Wow so quick! He said he had retaped my handlebars .... I am pretty sure that is NOT part of a tuneup. I was shocked and asked him how much that was - $35 I was told. So I'm calculating that the $60 charge is now $95. But wait! There's more! He put a new chain and other stuff. Total for the two bikes was $326 - $206 MORE than what they quoted, and nearly 3x what I budgeted for and all without any communication! WHAT. IN. THE. FEEZY. People have frickin bills to pay. There is definitely something wrong with this shop."
"Brought my bike in for a spring tune up for $40. They ended taking my bike apart, without a call or consent from me then told me they couldn’t find parts, and when I asked what I could do I was told, “take it to ski hut” they also lost both of my through axles. I used to love this bike shop. Not sure what happened but I will never be back TLDR:rolled a working bike in, carried a taken apart bike out missing both through axles"
"Their work is top notch, approachable and knowledgeable.. However, my experience is unique and I'd advise poor folks to consider their options. I wasn't told how much my repairs ended up being (close to 200$), didn't get a call when the bike was ready, they got my name wrong several times without respect or regard. To top my experience, the bike still needed another tube. I asked to grab a bite to eat and come back for it but was shut down. They called me 30 minutes later to let me know it was ready, I live 30 minute drive away and had to drive unnecessarily. This wouldn't be an issue, except that I had to borrow a car and then pay for gas. 2 Weeks ago I had employment, housing, a vehicle, and hope. You essentially harmed me, someone who is desolate. All I ask is to be considerate and consensual. After reading this you'll get to sleep knowing you have an opportunity to be better, I'll sleep in a tent reminding myself "I don't deserve this". Peace"
"Great bike shop! Very friendly and knowledgeable. My only recommendation is to be clear about how much you are willing to spend when getting work done on your bike. They strive to give you the best product/service but that might not always align with your budget. Overall, I am very pleased with the work they have done on my bike and the customer service!"
