Reviews of Thai Ginger Bistro
"Had a delicious lunch with my Bestie. She had chicken cashew stir fry, I had beef pad Thai, her daughter had coconut milk soup. All our meals were delicious. Portions good, maybe a little pricey-$16 each. You pick your heat level, I did an 8(1-10) not too hot for me. The meal starts with hot towels and a trio of soup samples."
"This is my go-to Asian place in Appleton - the food is amazing!! I like anything I order, but I recommend especially the pot stickers and anything with the coconut soup base. The customization options are also endless - I’ve never felt like I can order anything I want like I can here."
"I recommend this place, a great vibe their food nice presentation. The place is lively and the staff is amazingly friendly and quick to help. The food is so colorful and creatively put together. I wasn't a huge fan of drink menu a little over priced, maybe offer top shelf drinks for a decent price and people will enjoy 2 vs 1"
"The restaurant is nicely designed on the inside and I appreciate a decent sized parking lot. Once we entered and sat down, they provided a warm towel to clean our hands (Something refreshing, not many restaurants do that these days). They have so many foods in their menu, makes it difficult to choose. We ordered the drunken noodle's, fried/crispy tofu and salt and pepper shrimp. They also gave us 3 small samples of the soups to sample, which was nice. The tofu came out with a sweet peanut buttery sauce, it was tasty and the presentation was good. If it had been a bit more bite sized, it would be terrific as the tofu doesn't hold a lot of flavor. The slight crunch paired with the sauce made it an enjoyable appetizer other than the slightly larger size. The Drunken noodles, I was a bit disappointed in as it is suppose to be a noodle dish but there was hardly any noodles in the dish. The protein in the drunken noodles were bigger and seemed like the main component of what the dish was suppose to be, but the taste was decent. The salt and pepper shrimp dish was tasty, but overly salty. It's definitely a different take on what I had always had in the past. It's good that I could wash away the saltiness with the lemon water they provided. The waitress and owner were nice, but I felt that I was rushed to leave the restaurant as it was nearing closing time. As they were clearing our tables of the empty plates, they took away my water too soon as I was about to grab it. I wanted to finish it and wash down the taste from the shrimp. I have worked as a waitress before and it can be frustrating when customers come in near closing and you have to wait on them until they leave, but definitely that had slightly negatively affected my experience there. Overall, it's a good place to go to try out once."
"Hands down the best place for Thai Food! Service here is excellent! The only place I know so far that gives you a nice warm towel to wipe your hands with. We love the noodle dishes. Can’t go wrong with any of them, well seasoned and has great flavor as well! The yellow curry is also a great option too! Overall this place is the way to go if you really want good Thai food!"
