"If I could rate them lower than one star, I would. From what I've read, a good internet download speed shoudl be 100 Mbps and mine is 12.8. Good upload speed should be 10 Mbps and mine is .8. I'm unable to participate in Zoom meetings as the signal is erratic and pictures fade in and out, and the voice both incoming and outgoing is garbled. I've been told by other users it does no good to call them to file a complaint as there is no live customer support; you can only leave a message. Definitely not a good company with which to deal!"
"ZERO stars for this absolutely incompetent company. Impossible to speak to a real person. Service appointment times are constantly changed, and I have wasted several days of my life on multiple occasions when specific notifications are sent with 4-hour or 30-minute notifications and literally nobody shows up for the entire day."
"i asked centurylink to repair my grandfathers phone since he had no dial tone. instead of finding where the problem is, they moved the phone to a different place for an easy fix. it’s an impossible wait to talk online with them, and they have missed a repair appointment. garbage company. do yourself a favor and use a mobile phone instead of this trash service."
"This company has the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever seen! First , they turned my service off with zero warning and for no reason. Second, upon trying to reconnect my device I have been transferred 5 times so far and no one speaks English or has any idea of what I need despite me patiently explaining myself repeatedly. Because they have no competition in our area they simply do not care because they know their service is our only option. It’s disgusting that corporations hire out customer service departments to foreign countries to cut cost instead of actually caring about the customers who put our food on their tables. I do NOT recommend."
"Centurylink does not prorate billing-they keep your paid premium dollars even after you call and cancel service. If you billing date is the 2nd of the month and you want to cancel service effective the 3rd, they keep your premium for the entire month! Unimaginable customer service! Why does anyone use Centurylink? Thank goodness we done with them! They have a 1 star rating in Google!! The lowest possible score!"
