"I've been receiving tutoring and college counseling at C2 for three years and it is has helped me improve my grades, test scores, and get into top colleges. Their friendly and skilled tutors were able to help me increase my SAT score and earn 5's and 4's on nine AP exams. The tutors are very understanding and always willing to help you out wherever you struggle. The 2-hour tutoring sessions are very intimate, and extremely helpful if you struggle with Physics, Calculus, or Computer Science. Their tutors know everything! If you need a college counselor, C2 has it all. Their college counselors and essay writing tutors were very receptive and accessible throughout my college application process. Having access to their expertise and advice significantly improved my college essays and made my college application experience less stressful. With the amazing help of C2 I was able to get into USC, my dream school, and many other top schools. Having the constant support of C2's college counselors and tutors throughout these three years have completely transformed my academic career and was worth every penny."

"As I student I would say this place is very helpful in all subjects. One thing to always remember is that the tutor is there to help you and if you don't need help they will allow you to be independent. So its best to manage your time being tutored by asking questions and being interactive to get the most out of your session. And the main reason is because its not a 1-on-1 tutoring session. Its a room of 1-2 other people working with 1 teacher and that teacher is able to help everyone in the room. At first I thought it wasn't going to work but my grades did improve at the end. The main thing that helped me besides getting tutored was better study habits. Its good to know that you're only getting tutored for 2 hours (most likely) per day you attend. So its good to make sure you are doing what you can also to help yourself. I'd highly recommend it to a friend!"

"Throughout my years-long experience with C2, I have come to see the C2 tutors and advisors I work with as not only friends but also as an invaluable resource. Although there will undoubtedly be one or two C2 staff that you don't perfectly mesh with, the *overwhelming* majority of the C2 personnel are extremely well-knowledgeable, personable, and ready to help. As long as you honestly speak with your advisors and politely communicate your experiences and preferences for tutors, you can always gain immense value from even one C2 session. In addition, all my advisors have been extremely extremely supportive and willing to be flexible in regards to my scheduling/teachers/etc. I don't mean to sound like a paid advertisement, but C2's support has genuinely been instrumental in my achieving a 1560 SAT, becoming a National Merit Semifinalist, and completing all my applications in a timely manner. I cannot express my gratitude enough. To be specific, during this recent application season, Mr. Leon at the Torrance center and Mr. Matthew at the virtual center are two individuals who have most directly supported me. Mr. Matthew is an extremely creative and unique essay tutor that I have worked with and has been the most helpful tutor for my background and personality. Mr. Matthew's funny personality and introspective nature has made our conversations and discussion extremely enjoyable and insightful, in terms of essay content. All of my other tutors have also been extremely helpful during my process. Mr. Leon, my advisor, has consistently provided immediate support through fast responses and personal check-up meetings and has made sure that I received any and all the essay support I need. Mr. Leon is truly an amazing person who has not only emotionally supported me but made sure I was on task for college essays. Beyond the Torrance Center, I want to bring attention to C2's virtual capabilities that make this service even more valuable. I have not gone to an in-person C2 session in the past 2.5 years because my local center shut down during early COVID. In spite of that, I was fortunate enough to have been directed to Mr. Leon here at the Torrance center, and my C2 support and guidance has been continuous and amazing ever since. Additionally, please ask Mr. Leon about virtual C2 sessions if you struggle with availabilities for in-person because the virtual center is a fantastic supplement to the local center's resources. C2 is going to be a substantial investment. However, if you are willing to put in work with your tutors, you can truly extract amazing results from C2's help. I was lucky that my parents really imparted in me the value of taking advantage of every session, so I was proactive and ambitious with my SAT Prep/College Essays outside of my C2 sessions. Simply attending C2 sessions won't magically achieve your goals, but if you/your child is willing to work with C2 and be very ambitious with your goals, then C2 will definitely able to help you be successful, whatever that means for you. In my opinion, C2 was definitely worth it for me and my family."

"As a highschool senior, this center genuinely helped me renovise my college essays for application season. I felt way more confident with my college process after going to C2. The staff is very welcoming and do their best to fulfill students’ needs. This place is also great for doing homework or studying just to be around a relaxed environment. I was not too keen on going to C2 because of the cost but after my experience I can confidently say that this center is the perfect place for all students who struggle with academics, even if they do not realize it. Special shoutout to director Leon and Alyssa for always offering me help when I needed it!"
