Just Stop In

"Came here this past weekend because family was visiting from Seattle area and wanted a Wisconsin fish fry. We knew fish was served on Saturday even though Wednesday and Friday are fish "specials". We were a party of 7 and we had no complaints about the food. Our waitress was welcoming, friendly and attentive. The PROBLEM with this restaurant is the owner. My visiting daughter took the check to the bar to pay because our waitress had her hands full and was busy with other customers. Even though the always sullen owner was standing behind the bar (not busy), he never greeted her, never smiled, never thanked her. She came back to our table and asked what his problem was. She said it appears like he hates his job, and she was dumbfounded when we told her he was the owner. She said if any of their employees gave that kind of customer service they would be fired. We have enjoyed the food at Just Stop In in the past, but we will not be patronizing this establishment again."

"Crowded place but a short wait for a table. Nice Friday Fish menu. They offered 7 or 8 soups! Great drink prices. The fisherman's platter was delicious and the baked potato was hot and soft. I didn't care for the coleslaw; it had a sweet taste to it that turned me off. The tartar sauce also had a sweet taste that we did not like. All in all, we enjoyed our meal and will probably give this place another try."

"Delicious WALLEYE Plate. Price very reasonable. Friendly owner - staff & customers. Looks packed, bit service was very fast & I was surprised but this was my 4th time here or maybe 5. It's that good to keep coming back & I'm 130 miles away - so If in the area it's my go to for FISH FRY. CLEAN COZY"

"On our way back from Green Bay to Central Wi, we stumbled on Just Stop In. It was mid afternoon on a Saturday, so not busy at all. A few locals at the bar. It was nice that the menu had fish fry options, in case you missed the traditional Friday night options. So, it’s what we went with. The waitress was attentive, friendly and welcoming. She shared the specials as well. The soup was the French onion with bread and Swiss cheese topping. The Swiss cheese was processed. The fish was good. Average size portion."
