"The parking lot being full of vehicles is deceiving. When entering, there were very few diners, but a steady stream of workers, in and out of the kitchen, sometimes accompanied by what appeared to be friends while stocking the buffet. The warming tables used to keep the buffet foods hot are poor, if that. There is an abundance of offerings, but a lot of it appeared to have been reheated and served. The dumplings were dried out and hard on the outside. Our server took our drink order and picked up our finished plates without checking to see if we were needing drink refills. He bought our check to the table without a thank you, or please come again. The carpet appears to be from when the building was first built and never cleaned. Yuck."
"Great selection. Cheese pizza and fries for kids. Some food was not very warm. Hot and sour soup had way too much vinegar that over powered the flavor. Good chicken dishes, pepper steak, and shrimp."
"I gave this place a try after looking over the website. I walked in to give the buffet a look over. Especially the sushi end. I immediately had some doubts, but my friend insisted we try it. Admittedly it offered a wide fare from shellfish to Chinese varieties, even "domestic " fares like pizza and chicken wings. But I was extremely disappointed in the sushi choices. It was largely paste instead of actual chunks of fish. I tried the "Tuna rolls" , it might have been tuna flavored...maybe with possibly avocado stuffed with it. I personally hate avocado and watched the "sushi chefs" making the rolls, I asked if I could get the tuna without the avocado, instead I got a "You get what you get!" The other choices were also paste, not looking appetizing either. Outside the bean curd roll, hard to screw those up. I will grant the business to have decent pickled ginger to cleanse the palate with instead of the lower end pink ginger. My friend wasn't too happy with his choices, either not very flavorful or just plain not tasty. He tried dumpling, chicken and broccoli, salmon, thought the salmon was bleak and like me, dissatisfied with the sushi choices being mostly paste. Needless to say, I will NOT be returning to Journey. Granted, some folks enjoyed the varieties, then again it was an all you can eat place, and some will defend the place. But I will not. Don't Journey there, but elsewhere, try a real sushi that actually serves real fish in their sushi, not questionable paste of undermined what was it originally?"
"Steam table was very hot, price was amazing, sushi was not bad, wings were delicious and super juicy."
"Came for dinner and the food was not good. Best thing they had was maybe the pho. All the food was lukewarm and been sitting awhile. I think all sushi was literally crab meat filling. One of the buffet food tables was closed which made the food options look much less. Overall, not impressed with it. Quality is lower than other buffets I’ve had."
