"The ribeye I had wasn't very good. It was stringy & quite fatty. I also don't understand it being topped with onion rings with a side of au jus. The staff was awesome! They're very friendly & attentive even when it was busy. I will be returning very soon to give their ribs a taste. I'll keep you posted on that."
"Went to Pitch's as we are traveling around the state trying out all its' supper clubs. Pitch's was on the list and didn't disappoint. Service was absolutely incredible. The wait staff consistently checked on us and made sure our glasses were filled and needs met. With ribs being advertised as their specialty i went thinking the dining room would be far more casual than it was. The dining room was very clean, with proper linens and such. The food was good but I would not describe it as great. I had the trio which included ribs, shrimp and sicilian breaded steak. the ribs were excellent, the shrimp was good, but I felt the steak could have used seasoning. That being said, I have never had sicilian steak before so I could be off on my assessment. One of our party asked if they had any specialty olives for their drink and the waitress said she could stuff some olives with blue cheese for us. Wow, who volunteers anymore? I would venture a guess that most places would have said no. The prices were also very reasonable for what we had. Finally, we asked to have our picture taken with the owner, Jimmy Picciurro, the third generation owner, and we had a short chat with him. He was very polite and accommodating. We've had other owners who have seemed to be put out by the request. We will be going back. Thanks Pitch's."
"We are in Milwaukee visiting our family here. We found Pitch's in a walk around the neighborhood and went that evening. What a great find! It was a throwback to fine dining. Sinatra music in the background, attentive staff. We went on Friday when they have Fish specials on the menu. The price is on the moderately higher side, but the food was good. We enjoyed a relaxing meal in a nice neighborhood spot."
"Pitch's is an old-school supper club serving classic Italian dishes plus a nice assortment of meat and seafood options. There's also a full service bar, which makes great dirty martinis. The atmosphere is casual with a rather vintage decor, keeping the focus on the food. We ordered the Fried Calamari and Mozarella Marinara for starters. The Calamari was nicely breaded and crispy, and the mozarella pieces were large, lightly breaded, soft, and gooey. For dinner, we ordered the Deep Fried Shrimp, which was a little rubbery, and the Pork Chops Calabrese, which was very tender and flavorful. The side salad was made of a mixture of greens, the coleslaw was nice and crunchy but was lacking in tang, and the hashbrowns were good but very crunchy. Our waitress was friendly and enjoyed joking around with us, but she was a little slow and seemed distracted. Still, our food came out hot and overall timely."
"Dang. Not a great visit. Came in for dinner. From the get go the waitress (Kayla?) seemed very disinterested in waiting on me. I never mind someone being maybe distant or stoic. But when I get the feeling my coming in is annoying you? I don't take that so well. Had the chicken and ribs. Salad was good. Chicken was lukewarm/cold. Ribs were hot, so I enjoyed them much more. Bread was pretty dry. Sodas are not free to refill. Not much great to say here, unfortunately. Maybe on the weekends it's a better experience? But as it stands currently, I can not recommend this place to anyone."
